I know the Sensation is one of the older boats, but I read so much about how in 2009 it went through a major renovation, so I figured it was going to be good. Boy was I wrong

If you don't care about how the boat looks then this boat might be fine, if you care though, boy is this the wrong boat. The first thing you are greeted with is a huge purple room. It seriously looks like a 80s casino. They should have left the rooms without LCD TVs and update the public spaces. Would have been money better spent.

The cruise line also changed the time we were in Nassau. Instead of being in port until 5pm, we were there until 5am the next day. You would think this would be great, an extra 12 hours, we thought it would be great too. However when they say you are stuck with the same excursion and wont let you change without charging you a 25% fee, it sucks. Instead you are stuck doing a short excursion on a long day.

Cabin Review

Cabin 5A

The location of this room was great, since it was toward the front and no elevators past it, we were able to really sleep well without hallway noise. The only people walking by would be going specifically to their room, and there was only about 10 cabins past us.

The 3 closet sections was more than enough for the 2 of us for 4 nights, we only used the shelves in 1 and a couple hanging things in the other. The third stayed untouched.
