I have sailed with Carnival several times and always pampering is a great thing. The cove balcony rooms are the way to go. They are totally enclosed private balconies. The room attendants are always the best people on the boat. The shows are usually quality entertainment. The adult comedy shows are always the best because they fly these comedians on and off so you can hear different ones and you can always have variety. Jeff, the man who is in charge of the comedy club is the best employee on the ship. For one, he is an american and he does his job well. He knows what is funny and he says something different before each show! Good for you. On the other hand, the cruise director, Cory, is one of the worst that Carnival employees. He is not funny and his morning show on the big screen is awful! They should show a comedy movie on the big screen every day and night, what a waste of the big TV.They need to work on the Pink Floyd Laser show. It has many technical difficulties. For a ship this big you would think that Carnival would employee the best "top notch" entertainment. The only good show is "Dancing in the Streets" which I believe they show on the 2nd night which leaves you disappointed for the rest of the week. They should provide the dancers some relief and employ some other entertainment on the other nights for a bigger variety. (Maybe have a light show or a adult game night) Also, the Liar Liar show which is usually funny and a high lite on these cruises is very boring because the women that are doing it make the answers to long and lose peoples attention. There needs to be a show that involves the adult audience more with a scavenger hunt and have people bring funny items to the stage( articles of clothing etc...)I believe this game is called Quest on Royal Caribbean. More interaction with the guests and less Bingo games.

Cabin Review

Cove Balcony

Cabin 7C

The rooms are great! The cove balconies are the only way to go, I will always ask for a cove room from now on. I always have 4 people in my room and it is quite comfortable. You don't want to spend much time in there anyway, you might miss something! There is a "sewer" smell in the hallways, but we got used to it and tried to overlook it. Nothing is perfect.
