We just got back from a 3 night cruise over the weekend and had an enjoyable time. Embarkation was very easy and quick. We got there at around 12:30 pm, and sat in the waiting area for only about 10 minutes maximum before our group number was called. Crew members welcomed you aboard as you walked on. Once on board, we were directed up to the buffet for lunch. There was a line, but nothing outrageous to speak of, and we got our food within 5 minutes. The buffet food was typical buffet food (food in the complimentary two main dining rooms we found to be better in terms of both quality and presentation). My one true complaint about the buffet is that some of the serving spoon handles were unbelievably hot having been constantly under the heat lamps. Some were so hot, I could not get any food with them because I had to put them down quickly to avoid getting burned. After lunch, we walked around a bit and checked out the fitness center, pool decks, and just wandered around a bit to get a feel of the ship and its layout.

The ship itself is a nice ship. It's apparently been recently refurbished. It is not the largest or most grand ship you will see (some much larger were in port in Nassau with us), but it is very clean and well-kept. Staff seemed to be constantly cleaning. Our room was an interior room, and a larger one at that, as there appeared to be some interior rooms of two sizes. We had no problem with the room. Yes, it was small, but it was clean and everything seemed in proper working order. Shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap dispensers were each labeled in the bathroom. The room was cleaned twice daily, and each time had some sort of towel folding creation on the bed for when we returned. There are also many sanitizing dispensers throughout the ship, as well as crew members stationed at the entrance to the buffet who offer to spray your hands as you enter.

We had two beach towels (separate from bath towels) in our room, with clearly written instructions next to them for being responsible for the two towels, that there had to be two beach towels in the room when we disembarked, and that we'd be charged $25 for a missing towel. There were also instructions on how to exchange your beach towel for a fresh one if at any point you wanted to (there was an exchange booth on the pool deck). Fair enough - easy to follow and be responsible for towels. Whether they enforce this, I have no idea, but $25 for a towel is a lot, so it probably at a minimum, discourages theft.
