Just off Summit sailed July 8th. Wonderful experience. Room 1117 Aquaclass worth the extra price!! Room was on eleventh floor, quiet and noise and smell free. Nice balcony and amenities. Blu dining room was wonderful with great food, and if you didn't like the menu you could prefer from the main dining room. Only criticism is that the food was not always served HOT but warm or even. Cool. This was a big issue for my DH and he often sent food back to be redone. The maitre 'd was Nicholas, a conscientious young man from South Africa. He was highly concerned about everything going well and the guests being happy. Staff in dining room were friendly. Deuce tables in blu are too close together while they had some lovely half circle tables that were perfect for an Intimate dinner. Dining room was quiet . The longest we waited for a table on some nights was five minutes and most nights and mornings...no wait. Breakfasts were wonderful as well with smoothies and tableside prep of muesli as well as the traditional offerings.

Ocean view grill food was good. We enjoyed fresh sushi each evening, taking it to our balcony to enjoy with a cocktail . Celebrity allows two bottles of wine to be taken aboard to be consumed I the cabin with no corkage fee. The corkage fee is a hefty twenty five dollars if you take your own bottle to the dining room..ridiculous!!!

Went to a few shows...go to first night show to see a bit of each days offerings. We enjoyed the Up till Two A Capella group..talented and funny as well. Nestor plays amazing songs on his guitar throughout the ship with a more Latin flair but is amazing with his. Rendition of What a Wonderful world. The comedian was funny with appropriate jokes for the cruising atmosphere. The party band fusion was excellent as well. Do not miss the Crew talent show...they were amazing and should be used in the cast instead do cleaning and serving!!!

Cabin Review

Aquaclass cabin number 1117. Very nice , quiet, noise and smell free. Port side so you can see the port at Kings wharf. Bathroom average size for cruise ship. Lots of storage in cabin. Suitcases fit under the beds. Only two outlets in cabin. Bring powers trip. Balcony is decent size with nice chairs and table big enough to dine. Bed is super comfortable with many pillow choices. Room service is on time and good. More water needs to be delivered each day and the iced tea is welcoming after a hot day in port. Robes are comfy but slippers are one size fits all. There is a sitting area with sofa come bed for husbands that do not behave!!!! Shower is wonderful with a door. Glad shower curtain is out. One safety hazard ..pull out garbage can in bathroom ..make sure it is closed before sitting on the throne. Mini fridge in room..can be emptied out by steward so you can use for your own use. Important notice!!! The in room bible is located on the high shelf in the closet right between the two life jackets..in the end it is appropriately placed..lol!!!
