The Fontane is an older smaller ship so be prepared for a room that will remind you of college. Twin beds are common but the room are well appointed and every space is well used.

The service is excellent and the organizational skills of the team are well honed. They get people on and off the boat easily and quickly.

Food was first rate and there were local specialties included which was fun/
The program director ( Christian) brought the History of the region to life taking us back into the distant time and then giving us some incites into the Communist period. he did an amazing job of condensing the history and the explaining the Reformation.

Saxon Switzerland is a fantastic natural feature that has a varied history and is geologically captivating.

The City tours had guides with impeccable English and they treated us to many stories and interesting facts.
Both hotels at the beginning and end were large Hilton Hotels. Nice but cold. The one is More Prague was better organized.
Only disappointing note was that it was Sunday in Prague and the Cathedral was not open for tourists. Less
