Travel arrangements for flight to Berlin were excellent as was the transfer to the hotel. The Berlin Hilton was satisfactory in all aspects and excursions in Berlin, Potsdam and Sans Souci were most enjoyable.

Poor weather spoiled our first impressions of the Elbe. Worlitz Gardens could not properly be enjoyed because of this and an alternative visit in Dessau (Junkers museum?) would have been appreciated by many. Wittenberg on the other hand was most interesting with an excellent local guide and a very worthwhile follow-up lecture in the evening. We enjoyed the evening walk in Torgau. We enjoyed both the porcelain factory and the old town at Meissen with an excellent local guide. Dresden was in many ways the highlight of the ports visited, but we neede much more time to enjoy it thoroughly. Saxon Switzerland, although picturesque, was rather spoiled by poor weather and Good Friday crowds. The last afternoon of the cruise in Literomice with an excellent guide was most enjoyable and we appreciated having some free time there. Transfer to the Prague Hilton worked well and the hotel was good, though a bit too far from the city centre. Return travel arrangements were excellent.

The vessel was comfortable and well equipped. We appreciated the storage space and bathroom in the cabin; the service and cuisine were excellent throughout.
