We booked this cruise as it was going from the Tyne again.we had been on this ship and done the same itinerary a few years ago but as we had liked the first one so much decided to go again.
Embarkation was easy and seemed much improved on previous years (not sure how much credit goes to Thomsons and how much to Port of Tyne) We left home by taxi at 1:30 and were on board and in our cabin by 2:10. Our luggage arrived shortly thereafter.
Having been on the Spirit a number of times previously we knew our way around and what to expect.The cabin was fine but a little tired especially the shower area and a lot of the lounges have been updated with new carpeting and seating since our list trip.
