We decided to fly into Ft. Lauderdale & spend a day there & do the limo splurge to the Port in Miami the following day.

When we arrived at the Port we were both amazed at how big the Sky was as it being our 1st cruise & this close to a ship her size. There was a lot of people all heading in to fill out the health forms and thought the process was going to take at least and hour or more but we were both shocked when we went thru the process in a matter of 15 - 20 minutes tops and was on our way thru the ramp towards the ship. We were greeted by such friendly members of the staff that gave us directions to the dining room for lunch. The selection was fantastic and the service was amazing.

We had the inside cabin for our 1st cruise and figured either we'll love it or hate it. It was quite the shock when we 1st opened our cabin door to the tight quarters we had for the next few days but figured it was mainly for just showering and sleeping so we'd be fine. It was manageable and easier than we thought. We did the dry cleaning option twice while on ship so that we didn't have to figure out where to put our dirty clothes. It was fantastic cause the nite before we left and was packing our luggage we only had 1 outfit each that was worn the day before & when we got home we just put away our clean clothes with no dreadful huge laundry pile we usually come home with.
