I am just getting home from a week long celebration on the Carnival Liberty. I have been on four cruises and by far, the Carnival Liberty is the cleanest boat. It was recently redone and and the cleanliness was way above par. Guys burger joint is a must do. This is honestly the best food on the ship. The line was not too long and they move you through very quickly. The fries were even great.

I was extremely disappointed in the overall quality of the food. They have eliminated many things from the menu that have always ordered in the past. The number one thing being the Shrimp cocktail. You can now only get this on the Captains Diner night. That is the one night you can order lobster, your pork ribs and everything good. The desserts was far below par and I was extremely disappointed. The tiramisu was amazing along with the cheesecake, and chocolate melting cake. Other than that, I was very disappointed. We wanted to try the steakhouse for a fee of 35$ a person, but we never did. I heard several people say it was very much worth it.

The ports of call were good and bad. Half moon Cay....wow.....It was an amazing place. The beach is absolutely the prettiest beach I have ever seen. But thats it!!! It is a place for a beach day. You can sit in the lounge chairs and swim and rest. There is not much shade and it can get very hot. Puerto Rico was ok I guess. I was disappointed in the prices(which were more than the U.S.A.) and it seems that everyone was trying to get over on you. St. Thomas is amazing. This is the day for you to get out and shop and visit some pristine beaches and places. Grand Turk!!! What a dump! Do not waste your time leaving the dock. Stay at Margaritaville, people watch and swim. This is where everyone congregates and for the most part, did while they were in Grand Turk. We did a tour and there is no city. You get to see the donkeys and horses running around and the city dump. Debarkation was smooth and the service was nice. The comedy shows were very interesting. Everything goes on the Promenade deck on the ship. If you like meeting people from all over the world , go on this ship. Its extremely interesting and you learn so much.

Cabin Review

Cabin was on the Riviera deck with a window. It was extremely clean and you never felt the ship move at all. We were in midship. Great room.....
