Sail Date: May 2012
Cabin: Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

We flew into to New York City to meet the Norwegian Gem. Check in was very efficient. We were on the ship within an hour. We had lunch and relaxed until our room was ready. The room was very nice. It was a mini-suite. It had a balcony, and included a queen sized bed, and shower over tub.

The food in the regular restaurants was good. We also dined in two of the specialty restaurants; Le Bistro, and Moderno. The food was excellent in these restaurants with Moderno being expecially good.

The ports included Nassau where took a snorkeling cruise and shopped, Stirrup Cay, more snorkeling, and Port Canaveral where we saw the Kennedy Space Center.

Mid-Ship Mini-Suite with Balcony

Cabin MA

We stayed in a Mini-suite with balcony. The room was very spacious for a cruise ship. It had 285 square feet. The balcony had a nice view, and there were deck chairs to sit in. In the room, there was a small couch, TV, a queen sized bed, and a shower over tub. We slept very well even though on some nights there were rough seas.
