Carnival Freedom Cruise Review by MomcruiserMO
- Sail Date: May 2012
- Destination: Eastern Caribbean
- Cabin Type: Interior
Carnival was not the best cruise line, but for what we paid for the cruise it was a good deal. The food in the dining room was good, breakfast was great in the dinning room. The Steak House restaurant was FANTASTIC! Great value for the price. Our room Stewart was great. She did a great job keeping our ice bucket full and our room very clean. Room service was good. They told you how long it would be. They were right on target.
The decor of the ship was very FUNKY!! But I was not on the ship for the decor. The entertainment
Was just so so. There were several nights we decided it was not worth seeing the show. The comedians were very good, get there early to get a seat.
I never felt like the ship was crowded. All in all a very nice relaxing vacation.
One last thought..when we arrived at the port it was pouring rain. There was all kinds of luggage out in the pouring rain. The porters did NOTHING TO GET THE LUGGAGE OUT OF THE RAIN!! The porters do not work for Carnival, they could not have cared less. Carnival tried to help out the people with ruined cloths. It was a mess for many people.
Suitcases fit well under bed. Take a clock that lights up. The inside cabin is very dark!

TortolaA great small sleepy village. Easy to shop here. We took a taxi tour of the area. The taxi tours are $10-15 per person for 2/3 hours. Very nice.View All 1,246 Tortola Cruise Port Reviews
