We flew from London to New York after four fab days we began the Cruise from New York stopping at Miami, Cartagena Columbia,then through the Panama Canal after that wonderful experience onto Puntarenas Costa Rica,PuertoChiapas Mexico,Huatulco Mexico we left the wonderful Jewel in Puerto Vallarta Mexico three days early with great sadness to visit my partners Parents who live in Guadalajara Mexico
the free style cruising is great there were many choices of restaurant's to eat in the a la carte food was available at all times we didn't have to sit at the same table every evening everything was a feeling of easy going we made so many friends dress was optional most people dressed smart for dinner the shows were fantastic the air conditioning was mild we have been on other cruises were the air conditioning was freezing and some passengers caught colds even Pneumonia
we had a very comfortable state room with a balcony the bed was really comfortable the bathroom facilities were good although the toilet compartment was a little small and the Television was old fashioned most of the crew were Filipino's they were really friendly and always in a happy mood and so helpful there were also Australian, Mexican, American,and other Nationals
Tiny Closet, Old fashioned TV,very slippery floors at entrances into ship from deck most dangerous especially as the floors are sloping and many people slipped over in the rush to get out of rain this definitely needs attention with a none slip surface, we had a wonderful cabin & balcony very quiet the walls were well sound proofed,the bed was really comfortable and very clean, the food was good and tasty and no shortage you could eat all day and night and five Restaurants to choose from,the idea of passengers sitting at a different table each evening is a very good way to meet people but if you wanted to sit at a table for two four six or more that was your choice
