This is our first time on SilverSea which was highly recommended. We have experiences on other cruises and our favorite is still Crystal Cruise. Thus our expectation on SilverSea was high. We embark on SilverCloud from Port of Monte Carlo to Rome from April 17 to 24, 2012!

We find the checked in was relaxing, smooth and welcoming but only to realized that there was no photographer to take a photo when you board the cruise. This is indeed unusual and because we have four other friends being their FIRST TIME on a cruise, we told them in advance to dress up so that they can have a photo when they board but there was nothing.

During the cruising we observed there was no official photographer available for the formal night and when we checked with their guest relations officer only to find out that they had bad experiences when their 'in-house doctor' was having an affair on board and his photos were taken...what an answer ... shock to hear this that they band having a photographer.
