We were first time cruisers and a little nervous. We were told to book the best cabin you can afford and we did; the Penthouse Suite! Very nice and comfortable. Excellent steward and made sure our room was always tidy and neat. Embarkation was wonderful since we were in the Skipper Class and got to pass on the long lines to check in. Luggage took a long time to get. We did not get our luggage until after we returned from dinner; around 8:30p.

Food was adequate. Better than Denny's but certainly not 5 star. Lobster served once (small and chewy) and prime rib twice. We enjoyed the grill and the daily buffets. Get omelets for breakfast; they use powdered eggs for the scramble. Room service skimpy for choices but available if you get the urge for a midnight sandwich. Great when you have early shore excursions. We did it then and they were very prompt!

Crew was FABULOUS!!! Very friendly and helpful. We LOVED our dinner staff. They went above and beyond for us and our little boy loved the waitress. She always had chocolate milk for him! The Cruise Director was annoying. Quite condescending. EX: Mandatory debarking meeting yet took 45 minutes before he got to what he was supposed to say. When questioned, his response, "Why, you have someplace else to go?" Not nice!
