This was our third cruise on Carnival (although our first in about 18 years). After reading many reviews we expected to be disappointed but selected this cruise based on the dates and itinerary. We were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and had hoped for something special. We also consider ourselves food snobs so we had low expectations for meals. We were pleasantly surprised on all fronts.

The ship is nicely decorated and laid out well. There are activities all over the ship at almost any time of the day or night. Our cabin was roomy by cruise ship standards (balcony room 8133 level 8c). The shower was good and the balcony was well worth the extra money. The bed was not as comfortable as most hotel beds but it wasn't a problem as well fell into bed exhausted each night.

We loved the adult deck areas - while there were few children on this trip it was nice to have this area.
