Finally getting around to writing up a review. Dina and I took our first cruise, Feb.. 24-27 on the Carnivals Fantasy. Checking in was a breeze since we booked a Cat. 11 Cabin. Just walked into the Concierge Office, sat down and they did the rest. No standing in line. After that we were personally escorted to the ship. We soon found our cabin and the steward soon found us. I had ordered some roses and Champaign, and other novelties and was happy to find them in good order. The roses were brilliant. After getting settled in we took a walk just to get familiar with the ship. Since we arrived at around 3:30 pm we didn't have much time but the ship was easy to figure out. The cabin was large enough for my wife and me but I don't think I would put more then more then two people in there.

Before we left port we had our life boat drill which was soon over. We pulled out of port under an overcast sky. After about 30 min. sailing, the sky cleared and made for wonderful weather. The sea was smooth and dust soon gave way to the rising of the Full Moon. If all I did was sit out on the Balcony with Dina and watch the sea pass by under the Full Moon, it would have been enough.

It was time to find our dinning room and table. We were the first to arrive at our table soon our table mates arrived. The maitre d' and Waiters very friendly and attentive to our needs and request. The Decor in the Dinning Room was a bit loud & busy for me. I felt as though I was in a casino in Las Vegas, Bright Colors, Lights and no windows. It took a while for me to get use to it but by the second night I knew what to expect and it didn't bother me as much. The Food was great. Every where you went there was something going on.
