Very good cruise, and very few negatives. I have been on 4 cruises previously, none with MSC. Solo Traveler from UK Cabin Was in Inside double Nice big inside cabin. Good bed, very big bathroom with roomy shower I was a solo cruise, so storage more than adequate, if you are a two then the storage will just be ok. Food Used Buffet and 2 of the 3 MDR, didn't use Specialty ...

Overall Experience at MSC Meraviglia

At first as embarkation day, we arrived the port around 9 AM and the check in process took less than a hour because we were traveling with a friend of mine (including the parents) and requested for same boarding time and the line wasn’t too long. The expected departure schedule from Brooklyn Cruise Terminal was early than expected by several minutes. All aboard time is the moment when you must to ...

Seasoned Cruiser on MSC First Time (loved it!)

Our first time on MSC and we are seasoned cruisers. We had a FANTASTIC cruise! I wholeheartedly recommend MSC cruises to anyone considering something different than the usual “big guys” (X, Royal, NCL etc). It was a great value for our money. We honestly enjoyed the food better than any of the other cruise lines we’ve traveled and we’ve traveled inside cabin to suite class. It’s a real ...

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

We only cruise out of the New York area and wanted to get to Mexico. This cruise stopped in both Costa Maya and Cozumel. Ship is gorgeous. Food, if you can get it hot, is OK. Getting the food while it's still hot at a sit down restaurant is challenging to say the least. Had to go to into the cleanup area to speak to my waiter because he forgot to bring our dessert to the table one evening and ...

Currently on MSC Meraviglia ,absolute crap. Go at your own costs but be warned , service is shocking, the noise on deck 14 through the ceilings from the food marketplace morning noon evening and late into the night is unbearable . No sound proofing so all chairs being pulled out by customers to take their seats , tables being moved, trolleys being pushed can all be heard through the ...

My mom chose this cruise to celebrate her 70th birthday. She had 16 guests with her. We fulljoyed our experience. The staff was extremely helpful, especially in always us to host Chapel since there wasn’t a chapel on the boat or somewhere to pray. They provided accommodations and allowed it to be open for any other guests that were seeking the same. My mom and her friends loved the ...

Very attentive to special needs but otherwise extremely disappointing

Immediately the staff was very attentive to my special son & my elderly mom. They accompanied us & by passed the lines in order to get them out of the elements. The checkin staff was very friendly and accommodating . The “handicapped” rooms were the smallest of all the cruise lines we’ve been on, making it very difficult to navigate around- especially with a wheelchair bound son. . My wonderful ...

It was the worst cruise so far.food was bad ,customer service bad . Huge lines for food and bad tasting food. Only one place was serving food unlike other cruises which have food all over floors. Embarkment and disembarkment was so unorganized with huge lines and carrying our small totes also was hectic due to lines. Overall very bad experience and would never recommend this cruise ...

The Worst Cruise Experience

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Meraviglia

We recently concluded our 7-day Christmas cruise aboard the MSC Meraviglia. Despite having sailed with MSC multiple times (five times with Divina, two times with Seaside, and two times with Meraviglia, with four of those being during Christmas), we experienced significant disappointment on this occasion. I highly recommend those who have booked a Meraviglia cruise departing from Brooklyn to ...

We've sailed over 20 times, on a variety of cruise lines. This was our first experience with MSC. - The shows in the Broadway theatre were excellent! - Many months before sailing, we requested assistance boarding with our autistic son. They said a wheelchair would be provided for him to board. I let them know he's physically healthy and didn't need a wheelchair, just a person to help move ...
