This was our first time sailing on MSC and in Yacht Club. We are very experienced cruisers - NCL Haven, Princess, Royal Caribbean, Windstar, Seabourn, and Holland America. Yacht Club was an exceptional experience. The staff on board are incomparable. They are kind, efficient, gracious and helpful. Embarkation was speedy and seamless. The food in the Yacht Club restaurant is incredible and the ...

Our family sailed on the March 3rd 2024 Meraviglia out New York to Cape Canaveral, Ocean Cay (stop cancelled due to wind), and Nassau. As background, we sailed on Princess (2 times), Royal Caribbean (3 times), and Carnival (1 time). This was our first time on MSC and to be honest, the negative reviews gave me pause. However, we got a good deal and figured that 7 days not having to cook and clean ...

Our family is relatively new to cruising, as this only being our fourth. Our first was on the Carnival Elation and the next two being on the Holland America Rotterdam. We knew going in this was going to be a very different experience as this was our first cruise on a "mega ship" and we knew that MSC operated a little bit different from other lines. First, the positives. -Sailing out of ...

This was my first msc cruise, my wife’s first cruise ever. It was a great time. Shoutout to John and Simphiwe from table 807 in the dining room, Willy from Hibachi, Jeevan who cleaned for us, Sean the magician from wonderville, Xavier and Doo the photographers, Clinton and the Irish pub. They were amazing and very personable. Made our vacation extraordinary. MSC upgraded us to a balcony suite ...

I didn’t like it….

FOOD:As a vegan I found the food to be lacking. There were some options but there wasn’t an ingredient list or clear vegan label on everything. I feel like the set up could have been much better in the marketplace buffet. There is a lot of room for improvement here.In my opinion it’s very outdated and low budget. The pizza with no cheese is basically what I ate all week with salads. Gets very ...

Late to everything/High School Cafeteria Food

This cruise was set up by a friend due to the price. Well I guess you get what you pay for. - The food was awful. I have been to school cafeterias with food equal or better to the food on this ship. It was also the same everyday. - Several nights we would not eat at the restaurant we were assigned to because the food was not good - Our dinner time was 830 pm. We asked to change and they ...

Yacht Club/Lovely cruise

We were in the Yacht Club. Food, service and room were terrific. We ate mostly in private dining room or at the buffet near the YC pool for breakfast when weather permitted. Ship layout is very similar to RCCL larger ships with front to back atrium. Private island was the best I have been to. This ship was at capacity the week we were on it. I would advise not to pre purchase dinner package. We ...

I too don't know what the deal is with all of the 1-star reviews, or perhaps I do...most people are insufferable jerks. Did I wait too long for a drink once or twice? Sure, but it was not due to the excellent staff who all worked very efficiently with a great attitude. It was typically due to short term volume of orders of fancy cocktails. Here are my thoughts: Buffet - Food was ok with ...
