Some staff didn't seem to be trained very well. Most were not friendly and my family experienced racism. We were given foreign menus multiple times because, they assumed we didn't speak English. Staff intentionally excluded us from group activities when we approached because they thought we didnt understand English. It was very disorganized in terms of embarking and disembarking. We lost a ...
The cruise left port out of Brooklyn New York heading down to the Bahamas. As I found out a week later the cruise line redirected the boat up north as the weather was so rough. As it turns out it was not as rough as my cruise the week prior. We had 50+ knot winds.
I'm getting on the boat the main dining rooms are not open so you have to eat an à la cart cafeteria style, there were so many ...
We are presently still on board. The ship is sailing at full capacity with approx. 4200 passengers.
This ship caters to the Asian population. All signs and announcements are in English and Chinese.
The reason for taking this cruise was the price point. However, once you are on board, you are nickeled & dimed.
Our balcony cabin is comfortable, but lacks storage space. Our room steward is ...
We aren’t experienced cruisers as this was our second cruise ever. First was two years back on Norwegian, on the same route we did on MSC.
First off the boat was great, nothing overly outdated, and the overhead screen was a good touch. Check in wasn’t long, but the waiting area was overcrowded and a lot of confusion. No screens were on and you can’t hear announcements.
On board we had to ...
I knew not to expect much but was shocked at how bad of an experience it actually was.
Check in was a disaster. It was a cluster! Check in actually was not too bad but the waiting room is a mess. Not enough seating and we had to wait over an hour before getting on the ship. We watched people cutting lines and opening the barriers themselves to get on early. Don’t bother arriving before 1:00 ...
The ship constantly ran out of items or never had them to begin with.
The ship ran out of ketchup on the first day of sailing. It may seem menial, but it was really a bid deal.
There were no facial tissues in state rooms but holders for them.
There were no straws. Hygiene. Who wants to sip out of cups anymore.
The food was horrible as well as the drinks at the bars. How can you mess up ...
Celebrating my 50th birthday on this Ship.
First let me get to the good part.
Our Cabin steward was Ralf and he was excellent.
Our rooms were always clean and he always asked about how our day was going whenever he sees us in the hallway. Ralf knew us by name. We loved Ralf.
For dinner, our waitresses were the best Phiri and Thu Thu. We loved you guys.
Embarkation and disembarkation ...
Me and my family recently embarked on an MSC cruise to Bermuda, and unfortunately, my overall experience was a bit disappointing. Here's a breakdown of my journey:
Buffet Challenges:
Navigating the buffet felt like a scavenger hunt for necessities. The constant shortage of cups and silverware turned every meal into a frustrating ordeal. It was disheartening to witness guests battling for ...
I'm working in F&B for 40 years and I was very impressed with the service and professional service from Yogi.My experience was very good from the first day we meet Yogi for all my reservations for the 5 days dinning in the Specialty restaurants. You should be proud of this gentleman.
Very good experience in the Japanese restaurant. They need to improve the sauna area and the service there ...
It’s our second time on cruise for last 12 years! The food was ok. We only did few days of the formal dining out of total 9 days since the formal dining courses sometimes were not impressive. However, we love our waiters and the manager at the dining place, also the staff at the market place are all friendly.
My son has severe peanut allergy, the manager Edi at the restaurant always checked in ...
