We've been with 4 other cruise lines (Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCR, and Disney), so when a friend recommended MSC to us, we figured why not give it a try. HUGE MISTAKE we made!
Every ship and cruise line have their own pros and cons, but never one this bad where everything and I do mean EVERYTHING is bad!
1) MSC Website - Super hard to use. Even though I booked the reservation after I ...
The cruise was great it was my family’s first cruise. Graham, the chief of entertainment was awesome! He was full of energy, and every night’s party was so much fun. The service was amazing!! I Nyoman was amazing he remembered all of our names and our drinks, he had a great personality!! Wilmer was also awesome with service, he actually saved me from falling when a chair on the pool deck broke! It ...
For the price, there was nothing special about this cruise line and this cruise. It is worth it if you are only looking for an experience, but lower your expectations. I was double charged for wifi and have been in contact with customer service since 2023 to get a refund check that has yet to arrive. It has been more than 6 months. I was charged extra fees a day after the cruise ended, such as a ...
I have been on dozens of cruises on most of the major cruise lines but decided to try MSC for the very first time. Our cruise was out of NYC to the overdone ports of Miami, Nassau and of course, Ocean Cay. MSC has some work to do on it's website, which is very basic and operationally it isn't up to industry standard. You can't get it to accept a photo, no matter what kind of file you choose, ...
This was a very horrible experience. This is not a vacation, this is a kind of hell. AVOID MSC!
Everything is not managed. The ship is overcrowded because no logistics how to spread passengers over the ship during the day. Long lines are everywhere. Food is horrible and oversalted. The crew is rude and unprofessional. Cocktails are just joke. The food in restaurants is not eatable. Even room ...
I was so excited about this cruise, my wife’s first. We chose MSC because of decent reviews and a deal on the drinks package. The price was comparable to other competitors. What we received was far below what I could have ever imagined.
Upon arrival in our cabin, we quickly found the appearance to not match the photos of the room online. Our room was missing pool towels and toilet paper ...
We got a really great deal on this cruise and booked a couple of cabins.
My overall comments
Procedure- we got 9:30 boarding which I highly recommend to avoid lines. It isn't a choice though. We messed up and walked past the wheel chair help we intended to get my mom. Overall boarding was pretty efficient with a short wait before being called by group. People did get confused as to when ...
Just got back from a cruise to the Bahamas from August 7th to the 13th with a family of four. With a teenage boy and a teenage girl, I can honestly say all of us had the time of our lives! Whatever you're looking for on the ship, it has it. If you're looking for quiet spaces, even though there's always something going on, an activity or dj at the pool, the ship is so big that you can find a quiet ...
Our First and last on MSC
Wonderful service and excellent employees - particularly Corn in the panoramic and John Lawrence in the mergaviglia bar!
Modern pretty ship
Entertainment- terrible - especially the two circ shows -which you have to pay for - just signing and dancing -
Cabins - we were in a balcony -service fantastic -beds SO hard- cheap rough sheets - ripped and stained - ...
My wife and I took a 7-day cruise to the Bahamas on the MSC Meraviglia and couldn't have been happier with our experience. First of all, we live in Brooklyn, so it was really convenient to just take the NYC ferry to the dock. The ship and cabin were beautiful, the staff was professional and courteous, and there were only positive vibes from the other cruisers. There was plenty to do on the ship - ...
