We chose this cruise for last minute and price. something to do to get away.
embarkation was great. link your c.c. before the cruise and skip the kiosk part once onboard.
our total time from getting to the port to getting on the ship was about an hour. longer than we've had in the past on other lines but no big deal. our embarkation time was set at 2pm. we were actually on board at ...
From the moment you board the ship to the moment you disembark, you can feel how short staffed this ship is. The staff in general are extremely rude. The food was HORRIBLE! Only saving grace was the pizza in the buffet. They tell you to scan your cruise card to pick a scheduled time for shows, only to be turned away because they overbooked. Literally happened three times on the ship. We entered ...
I’ve cruised multiple times and MSC Seaside thus far has been my worst experience. Worst salty food, same dishes in the buffet every single day, very limited choices and tasteless food in the restaurant dining. Very small portions too. also couldn’t order more than one in each group of selections. For breakfast at restaurants the coffee was never hot and we always had to ask for refills, the bread ...
We booked a last minute cruise out of Port Canaveral on MSC Seaside. This was our first MSC cruise. We have over 20 NCL cruises, several Royal Caribbean, Princess, and Carnival cruises. We booked a "deluxe balcony" cabin. Not quite sure what made the cabin "deluxe". The 7 night cruise went to MSC's island, Ocean Cay, Casa Maya, and Cozumel.
Ports
- Ocean Cay, MSC's private island is nice ...
I was told that this was a 5 star ship.. It was pretty to look at.. While going to our room, the smell of mold/mildew in the hallways, our room smelled, there were no Kleenex or wash cloths in the bathroom, bathroom, very very small. We were never introduced to our stator room attendant.. when I got into the bed, I felt something, it was very bumpy, like little knots all over the bed. I pulled ...
This was my 2nd cruise with MSC, and though my 1st cruise was decent and had some hitches, I was willing to give it a 2nd chance. Never again! Would NOT recommend.
I will start off with the pros...
The ship is nice and the price is right. Cabins seem to be a little more roomy than other lines I've cruised on. Most of the nightly shows are quite good, though some better than others. Food is ...
I’m writing here because a month after my cruise MSC has not sent an opportunity to review my cruise. This is in spite of the fact that several times on the cruise we were told that MSC reads and reviews each review.
As far as ships go, the Seaside is a good vessel. The amenities were good and our cabin was much like any other cruise ship I’ve been on. Our issues seemed to stem from ...
After multiple cruises on Princess, Celebrity and RCI, for this cruise, we needed to sail out of Port Canaveral. Our agent suggested we try MSC.
We booked a balcony in the Aurea class which gave us full access to the Thermal Spa. We really enjoyed this entire area, especially the Snow Room. The Aurea "sunning" area was very private with its own private bar. I never saw more than 4 people at ...
The staff of this ship were delightful and so so friendly.
The ambiance was amazing it was a very clean ship as well even though it is a bit older it’s well kept up with.
The Food was very good they had many options for everyone’s taste.
The Restaurant was precautious with food allergies and accommodating to individuals with allergies. I love the attention to detail.
The Spa staff ...
This was the WORST cruise I’ve EVER been on. I will NEVER be cruising with MSC again. terrible customer service, poorly train staff, and to top it all off my entire family got food poisoning from the terrible jail house food that they serve. And they charge my credit card twice. Before cruising I specifically asked about being able to get water for my daughter as she is seven months old and I ...
