We chose the Bliss because of an excellent experience on the Gem October 2019 for Halloween. We’ve been away from NCL for a while enjoyed RCL but there activities have been lacking lately. So loving the Ncl dancing opportunities.

We chose this cruise because we have cruised the eastern Caribbean many times with P & O, flying directly to Barbados. Cruising from NYC to the Western Caribbean offered something different, with a different cruise line and a very different demographic on board. Too many people for the number of elevators always a wait, long walk from cabins to elevators. Exits are long walk for elderly cruisers.
Add on charges for service costly upcharges for drinks etc, Prices for drinks limits the number of drinks people order.
Drink package options very poor, drinks costly with add on service charges and gradtuity

We had been on an NCL cruise and stayed in the Haven ( Gem) and twice in a regular mini suite ( Breakaway and Pearl). For us, the Haven is the only way we would go on NCL.
