The Alaskan cruise was good. The weather was actually warm. lots of shorts and t-shirts moments. Cruise was casual, no need to bring a suit or formal wear. boarding was good and excursions were good. staying in the Haven makes the trip a lot less crowded We would definitely stay Haven again if we were to travel with this cruise line again. given our post cruise experience i dont see that ...
My wife and I booked this cruise as technically our 2nd cruise but our first was 25 years ago so I will say we are first time cruisers. Our largest complaint was there was not enough time at the ports and as a first time cruise the information flow from NCL was not great.
Boarding was easy, you can drop off your luggage anytime. We had a board time of 2:30 but dropped off our luggage at like ...
This was our 4 - 5th trip with Norwegian Cruise Line but our first on the NCL Bliss. We were satisfied with our previous vacations. This trip we brought our daughters, and grandchildren to see Alaska for the first time. This trip on was considerably dissatisfying .
We took the Alaska cruise. At the first stop Sitka the ship docked 5 - 6 miles from the town and you were shuttled in. With ...
This ship is beautiful and the nicest I have ever been on and I have done about 20 cruises. I disliked everything else about this cruise.
The stops- way too many people on this boat. The lines to get back to the boat were atrocious and you literally could not spend time in the stops because by the time they you waited for the bus to get you there and the 1-2 hours wait for a bus to get you ...
I chose the Bliss for my Alaskan cruise because of the class of ship. I absolutely love the layout of the ship! The Manhattan Room, Savor and Taste never disappoint! I also had dinner in 4 of the specialty restaurants. Cagney’s and LeBistro are the top of my list. The communication from the cruise director and captain were the best I’ve experienced! I attended the Platinum and Captain’s cocktail ...
An Alaskan cruise was on our bucket list, so we decided to go for our 25th Anniversary. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip. It was amazing scenery and the Bliss was gorgeous! There were a few things that weren't ideal, but in the end you have to just roll with it! I will, however, mention as much as I can (both good and bad).
Less than ideal:
*The downfall of the "Free at Sea" deal was that ...
Very disappointed in this cruise. Food was mediocre at best, dining rooms and specialty restaurants were very slow. Cagney’s steakhouse food good but took over 2 hours to get steak after we ordered. We missed several shows/activities as was not expecting dinner to take 2 + hours every night. Started eating at buffet instead of dining rooms but I think everyone else was doing the same as there ...
The cruise was as expected, very nice boat. The room was way to small for 3 people. Loved the observation deck! Food seems to have gone done in quality. Excursions were very costly. The entertainment was good, we enjoyed the shows. Alaska is beautiful and we sure enjoyed the scenery and the wild life. I got really sick on this cruise, after day 3, I was in bed and was miserable, (this was not due ...

No bar service, 2 bartenders on smoking only deck, waiting up to 20 minute to get a pre paid and tipped no service!
