Why I Will Not Choose Bliss Or NCL Again

Review for a Panama Canal & Central America Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

The positives of this cruise, the itinerary, the musicals, good shower space, and decent food. The negatives: 1. Is a mega-ship with a poor design unable to accommodate all their passengers without feeling constantly overcrowded and always struggling to find a space to eat or relax. For example more than once passengers were faced with lack of tables at the buffet restaurant, and were ...

A Mixed Bag With a Lot of Room For Improvement

Our balcony cabin was on Deck 12 towards the aft. Maybe that location explains why we had to endure noticeable vibrations seemingly from the engines all the time. It got so bad at one point (Day 2) that I called Guest Services; they sent a representative to our cabin and confirmed the situation. With apologies and statements to say that the issue would be looked into, that was that. The situation ...

My First NCL Cruise!! (it was great!!!)

Review for a Mexican Riviera Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

I've mostly sailed on Carnival and Princess. We did a family thing and sailed on NCL. My first time and I loved it! I stayed in the studio's, which is a small room with a bed, small shower, and separate toilet. You have a video view of the sea so you don't feel claustrophobic. Ive been in inside rooms that wern't much bigger, it was not a problem for me being in a small room. Plenty of storage, I ...

We just returned from our Mexican Riviera itinerary on the NCL Bliss. The ship was great, try not to be discouraged by some of the negative comments people post. The ship was clean and our balcony stateroom, was great. Note - ask your cabin staff for a mattress topper (they have a limited number available, but it really made the bed more comfortable. And, don't miss Mark Klein, best comedian ...

A DISAPPOINTMENT

We choose this cruise because because we were pleased with a previous cruise with the Breakaway earlier this year. Our flights were included and on time with United Airlines but we had to pay check the suitcases. The food in the free dining rooms was bad and the service was ok only in Savor. NCL "forces"you to buy the specialty restaurants packages if you want a decent meal and it comes ...

I chose this cruise because my past Norwegian ships such as the getaway and the joy was good and the entertainment on this ship that o heard it was good. The restaurant was good food was good. Most staff was friendly but or at the waterside at the pool pushed me down and didn’t hold on to the tube when I was getting on. I feel and hurt my self. Overall it was ok. The elevators was so busy and it ...

Spa Cabin

I booked a spa cabin (no longer a category with NCL) but should have done better research. I was mere steps from the spa, which was great! Things that were not so great: 1. LOUD, the Mandara Spa is on the deck above. Spice H2O is 2 decks above on 17 and if I had my balcony doors open, I couldn't hear the ocean because of the noise and people on loud speakers/microphones. The only time it ...

Great Value!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Norwegian Bliss

We are pretty loyal to HAL, but this trip was an amazing value. My knees don't work right, so I can't "do" Alaska like I could have thirty years ago. My hope was to see as much as I could see from the boat. Our goal was quiet, decent food, decent service, and to take in some of the amazing scenery that is Alaska. We got that, and more! We scored a beautiful club suite-- more room than ...

Went on an Alaskan cruise last year on Princess. A mud slide prevented us from going into Skagway. Booked this cruise to make up for it. So far I don’t have many good things to say. I have 20 cruises worth of experience on several cruise lines. Each cruise line does some thing well and could use improvement in other areas. So far the service has been terrible. I had a good experience in the ...
