Disappointed with Princess for the first time.

Review for a Australia & New Zealand Cruise on Majestic Princess

We are just completing a New Zealand cruise from Australia on the Majestic Princess. We are Elite members of Princess and have cruised extensively with a number of cruise lines. We have always been happy with Princess before so it has been very disappointing to experience such poor service. We contracted covid on board. We found the medical team either overworked &/understaffed. The medical centre ...

Never amazes me how Princess continues to outdo itself! Do not waste your time in any of their Specialty Dining Rooms - food is better in regular dining rooms! The Crown Grill use to be pretty good - now the meat is just like regualr dining room meat and the main reason I use to go was for the delicious Crab Cake - this cruise, I didn't even know I was eating crab ! AWFUL. Seems like Princess ...

Nice Modern ship but with a few flaws

We boarded the ship after they had returned from another cruise with 700 - 800 COVID cases on board. Because of this we were delayed boarding for about 4 hours during which time they thoroughly cleaned the ship while keeping us informed by text messages. Credit to Princess for this as to my knowledge we had no or very few cases on our cruise. Boarding was a little chaotic due to the delay but ...

We have just completed 21 day trans pacific LA to Auckland and had a great time onboard this beautiful ship. The food in the main dining rooms and the cafe was excellent and the service throughout the ship was some of the best we have had with all the staff being friendly and efficient and really out to impress and make us feel welcome. The ship was spotless throughout and constantly being cleaned ...

We went on on Sept 20 for 53 nights. From Vancouver to Sydney, then Sydney to Queensland, Sydney to New Zealand. The value of the cruise was great. The food is great. We had friends cruise together and that was so much fun. The big disappointment is their WiFi. At 1st 29 days of this cruise, we almost could not reply a simple email. We had to get up in early morning to respond our email. If ...

Love Alaska but not Princess

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Majestic Princess

We chose this Alaska cruise almost immediately after a cruise on Holland America in June - this was our 3rd trip to Alaska. We also had to use up a credit we had with Princess from 2020. We had such a fantastic experience on the Zuiderdam in June we couldn't wait to go back. This was our third Princess cruise to date, previous cruises were Royal Princess in the Mediterranean and Caribbean ...

Cheated big time, night and day difference from my last cruise

Sailed with Star Princess in 2018 to Alaska and had a amazing time. This time around was the worst ever. Both cruises were land/sea tours. To start princess raised prices on excursions and you got less for your money. Salmon bake in Fairbanks did not include desert and tea/coffee as stated in description. In 2018 it was all you can eat and this time it was one small portion of side and main with ...

Princess Hits The Mark

After recently sailing on a smaller all inclusive cruise line that was three times more expensive than my Princess Cruise I was curious to have the ability to compare. (we vote Princess) First the Majestic Princess is a beautiful ship, well appointed and visually very nice inside. It is TECH laden with the Princess medallion that does everything including unlocking your door. Sensors around the ...

Truly a "Majestic" experience!

Review for a Alaska Cruise on Majestic Princess

First Time Cruiser • Age 60s

My in-laws planned and purchased this cruise for our family, and it was the first cruise for four of the six of us. I really wasn't sure if I was a "cruise person," but after this trip, I want to come back for more! Everything about this ship and the cruise itself was delightful (minus the internet glitches), and I mean EVERYTHING -- food, beverages, entertainment, education/learning ...
