weather did us a great favour with winds only reaching 25mph and the ship is so large nothing but a ripple was felt under foot. The staff were nothing but courteous at every level The idea of no cash needed on any transaction while on board made it simple and easy Our room was a balcony on the 15th floor the staff there were beyond helpful visiting our room at least 3 times a day with info ...
We were really looking forward to this cruise to New Zealand but sadly left the ship very disappointed.
We booked 10 months in advance as part of a 6 week tour of Australia and New Zealand departing from the UK. We had stayed on the ship for this cruise after we had completed the previous cruise around Australia and Tasmania.
Our balcony cabin was adequate for our needs but the balconies are ...
This is our second time on the Majestic. We had sailed on her in 2019.
Cabin mini-suite. Bathroom was still tight but a real bath is nice option. Though the plugs aren’t the best for holding water, especially in the sink for shaving purposes.
Balcony was very small for a mini suite, uncovered so no privacy from above. We knew about this though before boarding. Though water drips from deck ...
The cabin was very nice - no complaints.
We went to all the inclusive restaurants and the food and service were great - absolutely no complaints. There was always something to cater for everyone and when you think of the number of meals they produce it was a well-oiled machine.
The buffet catered really well for the number of people. The only time there were real queues were when the ...
We chose to go on this cruise with 2 other couples for a significant birthday. We had room which was classed as a mini suite however it was the same size as the normal balcony cabins. Queen bed was comfortable, the room itself was small and functional. The bathroom was particularly small and you could only use it one person at a time. We found the food menu/selection/quality very poor. If this is ...
We had an amazing experience on the Princess Masjestic cruise that we went on From November 27 to December 10. The staff was exceptional, a special shout out to the staff at the restaurants Robert (Buffet Manager), Rakesh (Buffet Steward) and Constancio (Commis Chef) for providing excellent customer service. They made the trip even better with their warm welcomes and willingness to go the extra ...
We are Platinum member of Princess. Signed up for Majestic Princess for two consecutive cruises starting 11/25/2023 to New Zealand and then 12/10/2023 to Australia. This cruise was to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday. Actually looked at cruise critic reviews of this ship with just average ratings before booking although being a long time Princess cruise supporter, believed it could just be ...
In this review...Temperatures in Celcius. Currency onboard Australian Dollar. Language onboard English.
As with my other cruise reviews, I will split my review into categories. I'll also give marks out of 10 for each section where appropriate.
Embarkation. To be honest, this was almost a shambles and very rushed. I realise that the ship needs to get passengers on as quickly as possible, ...
First time cruising on Majestic from Sydney. Most times travel on RC. Ship is older and does not have the bells and whistles, which is ok as I don’t use them anyway, more for the kids and teens. The central atrium was small so therefore the whole cruise was impossible to get a seat there as they were occupied constantly with people not moving on. The problem with the Majestic is that is has hardly ...
We chose this cruise to see Fiji, but bad weather pushed us away from the Fiji islands two days early. Out of three planned days in Fiji, we only were able to see the Suva area and in heavy rain. The cruise made up for it with an extra day at sea and an extra day in New Caledonia.
The ship itself is relatively new, so it looks fresh, but overall, it's appearance is average. I think the ...
