Least favorite Royal Caribbean cruise ship we've sailed on!
"Pool sign capacity posted but on cruise days unless you secured a spot in the pool early in the morning there is no room left in the pool without being up close and personal with others. My husband and I who are in our early 60's booked this cruise ship as we prefer a 8-night cruise over a 7-night, along with the fact that we had never sailed on this RC ship before and it had a previous port favorite - St...."Read More

Good, Bad and Ugly

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

UGLY 1. Flatware not used by a previous diner such as your coffee spoon was wiped with a napkin and placed back on the table for the next dinner, Dinning Room 3. 2. Multiple room complaints of stools including ours not flushing (no activation when pushing button) and common area stools clogged as ship's vacuum system is not strong enough to handle the ship's 3000 toilets. BAD 1. ...

Great first Royal Caribbean experience

I just finished a week on Harmony of the Seas from March 24-31 and wanted to give my thoughts on a few things. I used plenty of reviews in my planning process, so wanted to return the favor. For reference, this was probably my 5th or 6th cruise. First one on Royal Caribbean and first once since Covid. This was a Spring Break cruise, and even though we are toward the end of Spring Break ...

Surpassing our expectations, my family thoroughly enjoyed our cruise!

Our recent cruise was a delightful surprise for my family and I, especially considering the negative reviews we had read prior. Despite initial concerns about poor food quality, rude staff, and other issues, we found our experience to be quite the opposite. Harmony exceeded our expectations with its excellent maintenance and upkeep. Food across all dining options surpassed our expectations, with ...

To first-time and occasional cruisers, this would likely have been a five-star experience ... but those of us who've been with Royal for a while (as in the maiden voyage of Grandeur, now the oldest ship in the fleet), the differences become more notable with each trip. Our last cruise out of Galveston was on the Allure in late '22, so we have a comparison. The most significant cutback is the ...

A truly wonderful time on this amazing ship

We have cruised quite a bit over the years and this one amazing ship. It is large (we had 7026 total guests and a crew of 2000+. We had an inside balcony at the aft end of the ship overlooking the arcade area. We could see the carousel, the water show and the gulf looking back. Not an ideal ocean view but not bad. At least we could sit on the balcony. The food overall was very good. On lobster ...

We really liked the upgrades to the Harmony

We sailed previously on the Allure out of Galveston in February 2023, and we wanted to experience the Harmony, since it had been upgraded, and the Allure had not been. We had checked in early and had an 11 AM boarding time so we headed there early in the day especially because Royal had sent multiple reminders of the Mardi Gras parades impact to traffic. However, traffic was light and we ended ...

We chose this cruise to get as far south as we could as we like snorkeling and beaches. We chose Harmony for the shows and entertainment. Our group consisted of my spouse and two adult daughter <30 years of age. We like to travel but have limited cruise experience. Executive Summary: I had a great time and loved the ship. We did a 3 night dining package and thought it was very good. The ship ...

DO NOT BOOK ROYAL CARIBBEAN

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

This was the 9th cruise that I have taken with Royal Caribbean, and it was by far the worst. Customer service was poor since day 1. I am a Diamond member and I was not allowed to be in the “Diamond” lounge during happy hour; interesting doing this to customers that have spent tens of thousands of dollars with them. The worst part was the shore excursions booked through Royal Caribbean. All the ...

This was a company paid cruise and my first one to go on. We had a great time and now would like to go on another! The crew were amazing! The ship was clean and full of activities for everyone in our group of all ages. The food was fantastic. The service in the main dining room was perfect. The rooms were spacious with lots of storage and the stewardess that we had was so kind and beyond helpful. ...

Maybe Carnival is the way to go after all.

This was my 9th cruise. All my cruises have been on either RCCL or Carnival except one cruise on Disney. We started out cruising on RCCL on Grandeur's inaugural sailing year. We've always put RCCL above Carnival overall and deemed those cruises better than the Carnival ones. Prior to covid the last cruise we took was on Carnival as it was chosen for us because we were travelling with a group. ...
