So much to do!

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

I wanted to experience cruising on the largest cruise ship in the world and learn how the cruise line manages the logistics of over 6000 passengers, and boy was I impressed! There is so much to do on this ship that passengers are scattered about! Many restaurants, bars, theaters, etc., that at times we felt like we were the only people on the ship. I often wondered where did the people go, but ...

Best cruise experience

We enjoyed the ship and its amenities, the food was very good, the main restaurant service the first night was poor, but after a complaint, we were attended by Antonio and Rumica, they were excellent, making a huge difference to the entire group of family and friends, the dining experience with them was pleasant. The Windjammer Buffet typically is very crowded, the seating area is limited, but ...

A stunning ship

The embarkation/disembarkation was very smooth considering there were close to 7000 guests on board. The ship is absolutely stunning and offers plenty of amenities, restaurants and thing to do. For our taste, the public areas are too noisy, and forget about peace and quiet in the pool area of aqua theater. The drinks service in the main dining room is appalling. You better bring your own ...

Harmony cuts corners on food service.....

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Specialty restaurants were excellent except in the case of Jamie's Italian. This was the worst expression of Italian at sea that I have experienced. This had to be a profit move only because Gioivanni's was far superior to this experience. Red sauce was terrible and portions of pasta were heavy and over done. The Truffle Sauce was nothing more than cream, heavy, and a few truffles, if indeed ...

Very Crowded!!!!

We booked this date on Harmony as a reschedule to our Sept cruise which was cancelled due to Hurricane Irma. Maybe it was more crowded because we departed the weekend after Thanksgiving? We've been on several Royal cruises and never had to wait so long for elevators, meals, drinks, etc. I also felt the entertainment & food on Harmony were not to par compared to Allure and Independence. We did ...

Fun and worth it, but a little limiting

I try to provide reviews that answer things I wanted to know before I went on a cruise. Hopefully the long review below helps (hint: hit CTRL + F and type in keywords and see if you find any :-) Most of this you can probably find in other reviews, except for a review of suite 14330...which apparently nobody ever wanted to review before so I'm going to give a full review of it in my review ...

We loved the idea of going on the largest cruise ship in the world We have traveled to many parts of the world by various means of transportation. We have always returned to the warmth and beauty of the Caribbean. We believe the Royal Caribbean gives you the most options on shore and on the ship. Our cabin, the service, the general beauty of the ship and the international feel that ...

Rethink RCCL!

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

Firstly do not book in advance with RCL, prices drop the closer you get to sail dates, we had a suite and paid well in advance and could have saved heaps if we had waited. The ship staff, crew, and food were excellent and it is rare for employees to be let down by their employers, but this appears the case for RCL. It seems a decision was made by RCL to pay attention to share holders at the ...

WHAT A GREAT SHIP!!

The ship is beautiful and holds something for everyone. There were things I didn't care for, but plenty I did! The food, all of it, was amazing!! Best of all the cruises I have been on, even the cook-out on Labadee. The main dining room was a bit chaotic getting started, but after a few nights, it went smooth. Embarkment was F-A-S-T! 15 minutes from curb to cabin tops! Our excursion to Haiti was ...

This was our second time on Harmony. I recommend setting up your on-line cruise check-in. Makes everything alot easier when embarking and disembarking. We had no issue either cruise. High time for embarkation is 12-2pm but still moves fast and ran very efficiently by the cruise line. First cruise was just my husband and I, second time we took our kids along for Thanksgiving/Christmas cruise. ...
