We prefer the Oasis class ships and have been on all three more than once-so this is somewhat biased review. Our embarkation at @ 10:30 was faster than we have ever experienced - but we did speak to a couple who arrived around noon and they had a much longer wait than they liked.
Grease is Harmony's broadway show and we went to see it twice. The first time we had reservations and sat in the ...
I chose this cruise because of the ship, for me it's very important to have lots of activities to do onboard like ice skating, zipline, rock climbing, water slides, carrousel, aquatheater, different shows in the theater, I mean its really amazing all the accommodations that this ship has to offer you.
The food in Royal Carribean is good, one of the formals night they serve lobster and its ...
We wanted to try the "Biggest Cruise Ship in the World". The dinning room foods were average and the Windjamer buffet was quite good with a large variety The other "Per Pay" eating establishments were quite confusing as their menus had no pricing. The bar prices for alcoholic beverages were way out of line considering the "short pours" the bartenders were giving and the fact that you could not ...
This was our 2nd year on Harmony of the Seas. We travel with a cruise club.
Embarkation and disembarkation was as smooth as silk!!!!!! Super fast, super efficient!
The ship is huge and filled with a lot of people but there are many areas that weren't busy at all!!! Mini Bites breakfast and lunch, The Bar at Wonderland, the Solarium any time.
Take the stairs as much as possible!!! No ...
This is our 3rd cruise on a Mega ship. We have enjoyed all of them. The pluses and minus's. Plus - #1 Balcony cabin changes are excellent! Other Oasis ships showers had a neat sliding shower doors that were a little tight, the Harmony has one large shower designed to maximize shower space.
#2 Cabin redesign, they put the closet on each side of the bed instead of one large one. This is much ...
Left from Ft Lauderdale to St. Maartin, Puerto Rico and Labadee. Flew in that morning (very nerve racking worrying about missing the boat). Check in was less than 20 minutes if you do online check in with picture online. They wanted a picture idea for my 7 y/o??? Finally waived that. The boat is everything it shows. Too much to see in 7 days. We would have to repeat to get everything. ...
I would not do back on the Harmony Too many kids and programs all geared got kids. Music much too loud. Excellent cabin steward and good food in the dining room with good waiter. The Windjammer Cafe was always messy and we would not eat there.Unfortunately this new ship does not get high marks from me.
The entertainment was poor and the headliner show was terrible. Grease was good. The music on ...
We’ve sailed on several RC ships, but this was our first time aboard Harmony of the Seas. Embarkation was very efficient. We had some nasty winds the first few days and the ship encountered some serious rocking. Some entertainment was cancelled, but the crew did its best to keep guests engaged. Our grand balcony suite was beautiful, and service was impeccable. We visited the casino often and ...
This ship is a moving city! It always has something going on but having said that, to me it is not cruising. There is no “ charm” but there is lots to do. The food in the dining room is average but their specialty restaurants are very good. If I was to name this cruise, I would call it the “alacarte cruise”. Everything is an extra charge.
If you are traveling with a young family, they would ...
