Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on Harmony of the Seas

I'm going to start with the one negative, elevators. I got to know the stairs pretty well b/c the elevators were constantly full and/or took forever. There is 6000 people on board so it is what it is, excercise is a good thing. If you don't like crowds Harmony is not for you, but you adapt. The staff was really great except at the pool bar when we wanted pop in the souvenir cup they'd ignore ...

The Negative: *If you like amusement park crowds and lines this is the cruise for you. *Don't try to use any of the pools on sea days. *The buffet food is on par with Hometown Buffet quality. Get in the cattle line. *The main dining is equivalent to the food that you get at any large conference. *Crappy internet is way over priced and a lot of buffering. ($200+ for 2 ...

Best cruise ever!!

We chose Harmony of the Seas because of the amenities and size of the ship. I didn’t even feel the ship rocking once. They have good stabilizers on the ship. My husband gets very seasick on cruises but he didn’t need to take his medicine once. There was so much to do on this ship. We enjoyed our nightly entertainment including the Columbus musical and the Grease musical. We missed the ice skating ...

I chose this cruise because it looked very entertaining and packed with a lot to do. Unfortunately things were all sold out so we didn’t get to experience any of the excursions. The private beach in Haiti was packed with rocks seaweed and urchins so we didn’t really get to enjoy the beach. Speaking of beach there was a $7 charge per person including kids for. Water taxi to transport us to the ...

GREAT FIRST CRUISE EXPERIENCE

The ship was very impressive. Overall the cruising behemoth was more than expected. The Promenade was very nice except for the (watch an merchandise booths). They were cheap looking and needed to be more elegant and luxurious. The Sports section was amazing with a wide variety of sports for all guests( ping pong, basketball, surfing, zip line, mini golf, etc). The shows and entertainment ...

Poker tournament director a dink. First tournament I could not join because 5 min late. 2nd tourment one player short and he canceled 9 minutes after published start time. Main dining waits long. Only spent two days at ships pools but seen over 20 people fall on slippery deck. So dangerous. Complete incompetence to use such a slippery surface. Food in windjammers average. Chops and other ...

Chose the cruise because of all of the activities BUT if you are going to relax forget it! You need reservations for everything shows, skating, aqua theatre, dinner....everything. Show spots are gone and you can’t see the show. Same with ice skating. Not enough reservations available for number of people who want to go. It is the story of this cruise ...there are many features you will never get ...

Ship was very clean and staff was very helpful. We went to Bahamas, st Thomas, and st kits. Islands were awesome beaches were great. I would definitely go on another cruise. Must start with that we have had an incredibly nice experience! and memory that we value for life! But there are some things/changes that could be better. The bed was very hard. My husband has back problems due to an old break in the back and the bed made this worse. Had luckily with painkillers, the sun beds were good offloaders. But it ruined a good part of the trip. The information on ...

Amazing One-in-a-Lifetime Experience

I had previously been on the Allure of the Seas ship twice, before I heading on Harmony. I felt excited to go on another cruise that was very similar to Allure, since that experience was amazing. I have two kids, one 14 years old and the other 11. They were excited to explore what activities the ship had to offer, for example the Ultimate Abyss, which was an adult version of the slides at ...
