Rates were in our price range and everyone was so hospitable Staff amazing only thing was port stop hours are very short especially when we have excursions But overall everything else was as always perfect I have 2 other cruises set for September and next may Will try to take another before next booking hope everything is just amazing as the other ones Its something for everyone oh and another ...
First, my primary experiences are on the Dream class ships (Breeze and Dream) so my experience on the Vista left so much to be desired. The beds were spring mattresses and horrifically uncomfortable. The floors were full of trip hazards. The stairs in the atrium were so tiny and narrow on one side that adults couldn’t use it. The walkways on all floors except 2 were so narrow that two adults ...
Galveston is my preferred port to sail from. The Vista was newer and bigger than any ship I had been on before. I definitely got my steps in but I absolutely adored the Vista. I am sad that she is leaving Galveston but I have booked the Jubilee so I'm sure I will manage. :)
The passenger capacity was listed as 3,954, we had 4,200. The layout seemed to work very well as I never felt ...
We joined some friends on this cruise. It was our first vacation since before COVID. They have reduced the staff on the ship and it shows. The first night we were not offered beverages. Usually, they had someone come and get our drink order. No one asked or came by. The meals in the MDR were not that great. I did enjoy the ribs one night. The Chocolate Melting cake was over cooked the first night. ...
Carnival did nothing right on this cruise. The ship was dirty the food was horrible and the customer service from the moment I tried to purchase the cruise was abysmal. The ship was way overcrowded, and I also had items stolen from my room. Carnival offered no help or compensation. They also charge for nearly everything while promising the trip is all-inclusive. I did my best to stay optimistic, ...
We have sailed Carnival 5+ times. I know there are some "Never Carnival" people and if you're one ... clearly this ship isn't for you.
However, this review is in the context of comparing the Vista to the other 4 Carnival ships we've sailed (Pride, Glory, Horizon, and Panorama) and also compared to most comparable brands we've sailed RCCL and NCL. We have enjoyed all our cruises with ...
We chose the carnival vista because we have three children that range in age from 9 to 17 years old and we felt that it offered amenities to please all age groups. The problem was, several of these amenities were not open on the boat due to staffing shortages. Also, Carnival now uses an app on your phone to check passengers in for my time dining. Every single day of the cruise there was a problem ...
This is my second Carnival cruise on the same ship and the Vista never fails to disappoint!
The staff was kind and helpful, especially with our party of 7. We tried all the specialty dining restaurants and the main dining hall and the service was exceptional, especially with dietary restrictions and making sure our food was to our liking.
Special shout out to Jocelyn, our Mayan Cuisine ...
My husband and I have previously cruised on Carnival and were very disappointed in the service on this cruise. We had purchased the drink package, we understood you are not able to use in port but we actually couldn’t use it at all the first day. When we could use it, there were small inconveniences that didn’t make sense…for instance if you ordered a double and we’re paying for it you got it ...
Hmmm…Where do I start?
This was my 8th time cruising on Carnival and cruised on over 20 cruises. This was undeniably the worst cruise ever on any cruise line I’ve been on.
MAJOR ISSUE - PUBLIC RESTROOMS - very sparse, hidden and small. The worse example, the men’s restroom located by the aft pool/bar. This men’s restroom had 1 sink, 1 toilet and 1 urinal. This restroom serviced the aft ...
