Sad to say goodbye.

Review for Legend of the Seas to Middle East

Yes, Legend of the Seas is old and yes stocks were running low, I get that, but people who booked on the last few legs knew what they were in for. I get tired of all the complaints about these things, we all knew what we were getting. I thoroughly enjoyed my last cruise on this fine lady of the seas under the Royal brand and everything she is about. I love the vision class ships and are sad to ...

This was a repositioning cruise and was very good value We had a wonderful experience meeting friendly people from many countries The crew and staff left nothing to chance and were very helpful and friendly As it was only our 2nd cruise we loved the whole trip We were nine days at sea before we arrived at Athens but personally I found it quite restful Some found it too long without a stop. The ...

We thought a cruise from Dubai through Suez Canal and the Med with stops in Greece and Malta would be great. Also with hotel stays in Dubai & Barcelona would be good to do. The 3 day stay in Dubai was great and than we boarded the ship. It was a very tired ship and the conditions very horrible. Complained to guest relations and are told " you get what you pay for " Stressed before the cruise ...

This was the cruise of a lifetime, from Brisbane to Barcelona....stops were awesome...crew were fantastic, friendly and always there to help.....food was awesome(except for poached eggs that were floating in too much vinegar, so tasted awful, & toast was like concrete).... As usual the pool junkies hogged the chairs, so trying to find a chair just for an hour was impossible, even to watch the ...

The last cruise for Legend of the Seas.

We chose this cruise to see the Suez Canal. The ship is 20 years old and was on its last Royal Caribbean cruise. The ship seemed dated, crowded, and run down. We had 2 days in Dubai before we boarded, and 2 days in Barcelona when we disembarked. Every day all day the staff tried to sell upgrades to the premier restaurants and the spa services. There were 8 long days at sea on an old ship with ...

We chose this cruise as 13 days is a nice long cruise and we enjoy sea days. We stayed 3 nights in Dubai which we thoroughly enjoyed, we also stayed in Barcelona before our short fllght back to Malaga. We arrived before the amended time but we were able to embark very quickly. We had a junior suite which was very nice, and our attendant looked after us. We enjoyed the food in the windjammer, ...

This cruise for my wife and I was part of a package allowing 2n hotel stays at start and end of cruise in Singapore and Dubai. RCCL operate both Celebrity cruises and Royal Carribean thus it was an opportunity to compare the 2 cruise lines. We have cruised with Celebrity several times and have really enjoyed our experience. and our hope was to have a similar experience this cruise. ...

Way short of the normal standard

The ship is tired and the staff seemed to lack the enthusiasm that we are used to. The Windjammer restaraunt staff did not keep up with the demand and restock low or empty food dishes. The bars also seems to be understaffed with the resulting slow service. I've never been on a cruise where the main evening entertainment was a film in the theatre. And one that had been shown previously ...

Sad to see her leave Australia

We needed 10 nights to make Diamond status with C&A - so this 11 night cruise from Brisbane to Singapore was perfect. Having been on the Allure OTS (12 nights -which we loved) and the Ovation OTS recently (15 nights - which we didn't really enjoy) it was wonderful to be back on a smaller ship again. Being her last cruise out of Australia, the ship and the staff excelled themselves, making it ...

I found the whole Cruise to be exceptional. I have sailed on 17 cruises including 5 with RCI. The only negative that l would have, is the lack of entertainment when leaving ports. When you have hundreds of people around the deck and pool area watching the ship sail out, it would have been nice to have a band ( like the Rhapsody that had a Jamacian band) that played every time you left port and ...
