The Romantic Danube cruise was our second river cruise out of three Viking trips. It met and mostly exceeded our expectations. The staff was exceptional, which is one reason we stay with Viking . We traveled on the Viking Jarl, Danube River trip April 16-26, 2023. The flights we booked through Viking out of Dallas were delayed. We arrived into Budapest at 2AM. My wife's luggage was lost when arriving in Budapest. We filled out the lost bags paperwork at the Budapest airport. The ship sailed at 8AM. We completely missed Budapest.

This was my 5th cruise with Viking and after 3 years of waiting for the Christmas Market cruise due to cancelations it was finally happening.
Such a DISAPPOINTMENT! We did 3 days as a preextension in Prague. It was good. The Art Noveau Hotel was nice. They never did mail out my 2 postcards like they said they would.
