1ST time cruise I heard only good things about the cruise line, everything about the ship was awesome Dining staff was top notch, shore excursions where nice, fed the sting rays and held them. Princess Caribbean Is a top notch company I have enjoyed this cruise and will continue to use this cruise line. Beverage package was a good choice, every aspect of the cruise was nice. Myself and the wife celebrated a wedding anniversary was a really nice experience. The room was nice with a nice big window, our room attendant was really nice. This was my and the wife's first cruise since we live in florida wanted to try a cruise to see what it was like, I will only use Royal Caribbean cruises I will also try to find out which ship our dining room servers will be working so we can come back to them. Is our first cruise experience and it was really good, We wanted to meet as many ports as possible in the Bahamas and couldn't travel for more than a week, so this cruise was the perfect option, but due to weather conditions the stop in cocokay was cancelled :"(, and we spend a day in the sea, the crew manage to make the day on board a great experience full of activities my husband even won $300 on a bingo session so that was great, as a young couple we found the trip a little quiet because there were many oldies from Florida looking to warm up, but we got the change to take a break and actually get some rest. On our next experience we are thinking on going on a more modern ship so we might find more people our age. We Loooooooooooooooooveee!! the food everything everything was so delicious!! so if you are a foodie this may be your ship o cruise line! Read Less

The party - Wife and I, mid 40s. Managed to leave the kids at home. We've been on about a dozen cruises mainly split among RCI and Carnival. I've finally come to the conclusion that RCI is better suited to us. Embarkation is Miami was a breeze. We just scrape platinum level, so that makes it a bit easier but embarkation seemed pretty smooth for everyone. The preceding cruise unladed a bit late so the crew was running a bit behind but did a great job catching up. Enchantment has a lot going for it. There is just enough of the new stuff to keep things interesting but it is also small enough to make for easy navigation. She has some wear and tear but also many charms. The staterooms are in good enough shape and are always well-maintained by the housekeeping crew. We were in a junior suite on deck 8. If you are a light sleeper, avoid mid-ship on deck 8 since it is under the Solarium pool so chairs are being moved around above you many hours of the day and night. Now I know, and so do you. Go for deck 7 or below. Making the situation worse was our proximity to the heavy door to the area overlooking the Centrum. All in all we lost some sleep but not a big deal in the grand scheme. Not sure why, but we ended up eating most of our meals at the Windjammer buffet. I have to say that the food was as good as I've experienced on a cruise ship. We did have a meal in the dining room and it was also better than average. We had a coupe more snacks at the little cafe in the Solarium. Enjoyed most of that, save the pizza. Enchantment only has one specialty dining venue, Chops Grille. We didn't eat there but have in the past. The crew of the Enchantment goes a long way in setting it apart. It's a happy crew of folks from all over the place that go above and beyond. Spent a lot of the time in the casino (don't judge me) and found them to be some of the friendliest on board. I had no bad interactions with any staff throughout the ship. To be fair, the wife and I mostly kept to ourselves and did our own thing. I can't comment too much on the entertainment because we just chilled by the pool and played in the casino. Cruise ship entertainment is really my thing when we don't have the kids with us. Fellow passengers were a very diverse group - I assume that the School holidays from South America drew the large numbers of Argentines and Brazilians to this particular sailing. It was really nice to cruise with such a diverse group - a real departure from what I'm accustomed to. Really enjoyed that aspect of the voyage. On paper this itinerary was perfect - very little sailing and long stints at ports of call. The only bummer, and I can't blame RCI was that our visit to the private island of Cococay had to be scrapped due to high winds. I will give the crew high marks for bumping up the activities and communicating the changes to the itinerary for guests. Nassau - I'm a frequent visitor to Atlantis to spend the day there. We arranged a day pass with our casino host in advance. We had a great time there. Visitors with kids could have made real hay at Atlantis. The resort was less than half full and Aquaventure water park ws a ghost town with no lines. Again, something I'd not seen before. Coco Cay - cancelled :-( It would have been nice if they had made the call earlier so we could stay in Nassau or get to Key West earlier but I assume this is not possible due to ship slip availability at the 2 ports we did visit. Key West - had been here many times so knew what to do once we got there. No need for an organized excursion. We had a great time shopping, people watching and meeting some new friends at Irish Kevin's and Sloppy Joes. I'm a big fan of Key West. Again, don't judge me. Debarkation - we did self service. The line looked daunting but things went pretty smoothly. We were from cabin to cab in about 35 minutes. This was probably my 3rd trip on enchantment and I would still very much recommend it, particularly at this time fo the year, with kids or without because of the things I mentioned above. We will definitely be back. Read Less

I woke up the last day after a rough night of the ship rocking, couldn't sleep, woke up and stepped in a flooded room with what looked like raw sewage! My husband called the room attended and told him our room which was a Junior Suite on the 8th floor, was flooded. Room attendant started throwing towels all over the floor, and we asked as to how we can shower and wash our feet, the attendant let us use a room about 8 doors down from our cabin. We took quick showers, and were disgusted wearing our shoes which were also wet with whatever was flooding the room. I went to guest services, and woohoo! they offered us 30% off our next cruise, then upped it to 60% off. Their argument was that we did had 3 good days that we enjoyed our cruise. Didn't show enough care. I wasn't looking for a handout, but felt there should've been better compensation for having to step in raw sewage! Very poorly maintained! Read Less

Enchantment of the Seas delivered as promised . It is the perfect size ship for me . I like the smaller ships because we are always close to were the action is . The vessel was well maintained . The Ship was fully booked but was not at all crowded except for the WindJammer Buffet during peak times . We were able to find quite areas for reading and lounging and more upbeat areas when we wanted to hang out and get loud , Bar service was excellent with a wide selection of quality choices . Main dining was a positive experience also . Our servers Jane and Dionisio were very attentive to our dining needs and were a joy to interact with . Every staff member that we interacted with made us feel welcomed .I believe you get what you pay for . We did not choose a luxury cruise and we did not pay for one either . Look forward to more Cruises in the future! Read Less

This cruise was a quick getaway to get some much-needed peace and quiet. It was very smooth getting on the ship. It took very little time to board. There was plenty of good hot food and room to eat it on-deck. We were able to go to our rooms right after lunch. Our bags arrived very soon after going to our room. We loved the view from our balcony. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and informative. The internet was very fast and easy to connect to. The dining room was nice and the wait staff servers and maître d' went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. We never had to ask for more water or tea. The several dishes we ordered were brought all at once to sample and enjoy. Leaving the ship was just as easy as getting on. We were there just to unwind and destress and this cruise did just that. We would not hesitate to do this again next time we need a quick escape. Read Less
