We took our first MSC cruise, a 21 day TA from Martinique to Hamburg, many port stops in between which I initially thought might be a negative (we love the sea days, hence the TA's) but it was broken up nicely and we saw a few new ports by sheer number. It was like having three different cruises, the Caribbean followed by the TA followed by a European cruise, very nice.

It was our first time cruising and it has certainly NOT given us the “bug”!!
The ship was so crowded. The food was awful, particularly not the Golden Lobster restaurant in the evening. On two evenings we were not allowed in the restaurant until 9.30 pm which is far too late.

This was our thirteenth cruise which was certainly unlucky for some The food and the entertainment were no where near the standard we have come to expect from other companies. Mainly chose this ship as the itinerary suited, no sea days and many islands to visit. its difficult to find something very good about this MSC cruise and unless they have a good rethink about the following would never go on MSC again. We have been on many cruises over the years.
