We chose this cruise just to try Carnival since we have only been on RCCL and NCL. Never again. The ship was dirty and rusty. It had just come out of dry dock so I have no idea why all the windows and our balcony were dirty. We ate at Ji Ji and the windows were so dirty I closed the curtains. That about sums it up. From the food to the activities to the spa, it was awful. The only good thing was the waitstaff and room steward. The food was dull and the choices limited. My family of 5(Dad, Mom, two teens, and a kid) went on the 2021 Christmas cruise and had a great time. The prepared online covid tests and boarding passes weren't a problem, but I do stress this, bring everybody's birth certificates.
