A Dream Cruise on the Divina

Review for a Caribbean - All Cruise on MSC Divina

Despite the change in the itinerary due to the recent hurricanes, the Divina lived up to all our expectations. This was our 25th anniversary cruise, and was one of the most enjoyable cruises we have taken. The food was great, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the other passengers were for the most part polite and friendly as well. The Fantastica package lived up to its name and provided us ...

Well said Hoppysmom, got it spot on. This was our 28th cruise and first time on MSC. We were attracted by the very cheap deal, free drinks package and on board spend and we were curious to know why there were so many poor reviews. Cold food, poor service weird entertainment, theatre half empty most nights. We had a quick look and left - all been said already. Dining was a shambles in the Villa ...

Second Divina cruise in two months

We chose this line and ship twice in two months. Why? Because the entertainment, food, service, beauty of the ship exceeded our expectations. The ship itself is a sight to behold. Each of the swarovsky crystal steps in the amazing atrium cost $5,000, and the ship itself was designed by the owner's wife. Public areas are amazingly beautiful, clean, and friendly to all. The cabin (balcony this ...

We chose the cruise for discounts, and loyalty match program. Price was good for a balcony cabin -mid ship- fantastica, second sailing with MSC Divina. Nov 11 , 2017 eastern caribbean. We have been on may cruises before RCCL, windstar, carnival, celebrity, NCL, princess, seabourne. Cabin was spacious fantastica B2 balcony, small but you get used to it Ship. Beautiful ship. ...

Overated Cruise

WE just did this Caribbean Cruise and found it a very uninteresting part of the world not worth the 20 odd hours of flying from Australia to get to Miami. The Divina is a nice enough ship but confusing to navigate. Our balcony cabin was good except not enough hanging space. We have only sailed with Princess before this with the cabins being larger. The entertainment was excellent except we did the ...

Embarkation and disembarkation went smoothly. Our time on the ship was very enjoyable. Loved the entertainment, best we have seen. Our cabin was very nice except for hearing chairs being moved around overhead between 5 and 6am. The buffet was very good, except the layout, silverware was nowhere near plates, had to look for them. The best seating in the Calumet is aft which we were not able to ...

We chose this cruise because of price as well as reviews for the entertainment. We loved "the mask" as well as " treasure island" they were two of the best shows that we have ever seen. We did not like the opera. That is our preferance. Others in our party loved the opera. Lots of activities on sea days ex: trivia, crafts, sexy legs contest etc. Abba show was fun, as well as 70's and 80's ...

Overall we were happy with the cruise. It was well run, the ship was amazing, and the crew was professional and friendly. The shows were also first rate. The only complaints were the food and the TV. The food was average at best, even in the dining restaurants. Very bland, often luke warm, and just not good, with the execution of the pizza, fruit and French fries. Also there were upcharges ...

This was a themed cruise and had never been on or even heard of MSC before booking this cruise. To begin with the check-in was different. We had to use a machine onboard the ship for our credit card rather than giving it at the embarkation counter. Not a lot of direction was given at anytime during the cruise and I wondered how first time cruisers would do. It was a little confusing at times and ...

We are cruise regulars (sail several times each year) and decided to add a 7 day MSC cruise to the end of our NCL Transatlantic crossing. We were both extremely impressed and felt our trip represented excellent value for money. One of the cruise agents we book through drew the MSC cruise to our attention at a time when deals including the drinks package applied. We took advantage of that and ...
