I wanted a family vacation where everyone had new experiences, this is why I chose MSC Divina, as well as kids sailed free 11 and under. I knew this cruise line was award winning in Europe, so this was an other reason for the interest. I read all the reviews, good and bad and was I surprised with my experience! The cabins were spacious and well appointed. Plenty of room for my family of 4. The ...

Having sailed with MSC on 2 previous occasions, i was eager to try the Divina. She didn't let us down. She is stunning. Equally so compared to her sister, Preziosa. The bars, pool areas & theater are kept in such an immaculate state. Embarkation was swift and easy. I think we were on board within 30 minutes of arriving at the port. Our cabin was superb. Great positioning with a suitable ...

First - this is an Italian operation in the US, with international crew and Italian style restaurants. The cabin attendants are very service-minded, the shows are fantastic. So far, so good, but... PRICES: espresso+caffe latte for 9usd at sea - while the same cost max 5usd in Italy?!!! WINES: mass-produced wines (Mondavi woodbridge, negociant chateauneuf,...) at 3 Times' retail priced mixed ...

This is a very beautiful and big ship. All the stairs in the atrium have Swarovski crystal. We had a very good embarkation experience which was quick and efficient. Our cabin was on Deck 12 mid ship. The size of our cabin was very good. The only thing was there was not much room to put a suitcase. Our cabin bathroom was kept clean. There was an abundance of food. The top deck provided a self ...

First time on MSC was disappointing. MSC follows the same business model as the airlines: Maximize profit while minimizing customer service. Crew: Some of the crew would go out of their way to make your trip pleasant while others would not lift a finger to assist. My wife was ill one morning and I had asked for a cup of soup from the dinning room, which was being served, to take back to the ...

we just did back to back cruises on the Ms Divinia. it was the eastern and western Caribbean and I have to say that the cruise(s) were absolutely fabulous. this is a beautiful ship and all the crew were very helpful and courteous. I have never been on a cruise ship where the customer service was open 24 hours a day, they do everything they can to make your vacation an excellent one. I read many ...

My partner booked this cruise as a surprise so I did not do the usual checking on reviews, wish I had done as probably would not have booked it. I am not one to do a bad review normally, I try to make the best of things but really just wanted to get off the ship as soon as possible. Unfortunately we were booked on for two weeks so had to stay on ship. We have at least 2 cruises a year and I have ...

This was our first cruise on MSC and the Divina. Based on some of the reviews I have seen I was not sure that we booked the right cruise but was I surprised! I am a Diamond Plus member on RCCL, Elite Plus on Celebrity and Elite on Princess. We have sailed on over 80 cruises so I know what I am talking about when I say this cruise was great! They had the best shows, (production shows every ...

Sailed in Aurea Balcony, never met my cabin steward for days and only saw him 2xs. Food is terrible in the Black Crab Dinning. Most dinners we had to order several dinners just so we could find something edible. Cold, dry, fatty and extremely small portions. Ordering a drink in the dinning room wasn't consistent and I never recieved what I ordered. Staff was rude and not attentive. We were ...

Yacht Club was fantastic!

I just wanted to share our experience from our honoymoon at MSC Divina recently. We booked cabin 15027 at the Yacht Club and from the moment we got of the cab until we left the ship they treated us like kings. The embarkation was very quick with no other in line and during our passportcontrol we were served champagne and snacks for the inconvenient. They turned something boring into a good ...
