First and last with MSC … from an avid traveller

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

Choose cruise to discover a variety of Central American ports, and for the affordability. Understaffed with exhausted and overworked employees who are willing to openly speak about the bad working conditions; apparently experienced staff were shipped to new MSC ships being launched. Short staff and full ship means you wait, wait, wait. Main buffet offers very basic repetitive options. Decided to ...

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME

After traveling many other cruise lines I can honestly recommend you to save your time, money and experience. The worst customer service I have ever encountered. People in customer service department were rude and useless (ironic, as they should be the first ones to represent the brand) so I asked for assistant manager. He first made an appointment with us and was late. After he heard us about ...

Good value for the price paid

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

Took a 4 day cruise to Nassau and an overnight on their private island the week before Christmas so the ship was full with 4100 but never felt crowded except for once or twice in the buffet. Was this the best cruise I've been on? No. Was this a very good cruise for the price I paid for single balcony room on a holiday week, yes. Not a lot of frills so here is what you can expect. Ship was well ...

MSC Divina 12/19/22 - Never Again!

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

For background information, my husband and I are seasoned cruisers. Most of our cruises have been on Carnival - not out of brand loyalty so much, but because they have a wide range of itineraries at reasonable prices. We can usually find something inexpensive that fits the dates we have available to travel and visits some interesting ports of call. When the opportunity presents itself to try ...

Nightmare cruise

Review for a Bahamas Cruise on MSC Divina

I choose this cruise because it was cheap. It was a 5 day 4 night cruise from Dec 19 to Dec 23 and the cost was $440 per person for a balcony room. I must say you get what you pay for. This was a total nightmare cruise. Restaurant manager was unwelcoming, seemed as if we were a bother. Had extremely poor customer service skills. On the first night of the cruise he became upset because we ...

After I read so many negative reviews I didn't expect much for this, my first MSC cruise. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was one of the more enjoyable cruises I have been on in a while. Good- The menu in the main dining room was very good and several choices that appealed to me every night. The food was creatively plated, hot and tasty. The service was very good with an amiable ...

Grand larceny. Horrible customer service

We chose this cruise because we sailed with MSC previously and had a great experience. However, this was as the pandemic started and the cruise ship was half full. This time was a completely different experience. The cruise was fully booked so we were able to see what the true MSC experience really was. At our first port, we got money from our safe and exited the ship. We left our jewelry and ...

We have friends who love to take Cruises. They suggested that we try MSC as they are new to the U.S. and had some pretty competitive deals. We were excited to try them out as our first experience!!!.. Overall it was a great experience. The Ship was clean from top to bottom. Plenty of bars for service, a solid buffet, and the drink package is well worth it !! I would say stay away from the main ...

Awful ship, mediocre food.

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

Chose mostly for low price. But ship was really substandard from the start. No soap in bathroom dispenser , no washcloths, 2 towels for 3 people. We called twice in 2 hours, since we wanted to shower before going to dinner. Wound up eating in sweaty shorts since towels and soap kept not coming. No outlets by bed, so you can't charge your phone while reading yourself to sleep or answering emails. ...

Great cruise, bringing MSC in line with USA lines

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

We've cruise a range of lines before, including princess, celebrity , carnival, RCL and NCL. This cruise was great, highly comparable to NCL, Royal and Carnival, but not as good as princess or celebrity. Hopefully this review is useful and debunks some of the other more critical reviews. Pro's..... - Large, clean and modern cruise ship - Lots of great bars and lounges - No ...
