Would not cruise on MSC again

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on MSC Divina

The only good things on this ship were the shows in the theater and the Italian Specialty Restaurant for a fee. Food and service in the main dining room were terrible. Food was tasteless and cold. The description on the menu had nothing to do with what was actually served. We had one waiter that didn't know what Iced Tea was.We missed the Opera performance because dinner service was very, very ...

This was our first time sailing on MSC. Overall we were very satisfied with the cruise. The staff were all very friendly even when dealing with some not so friendly customers. We really liked the food, bars and "Drinks on us" package was fine for us. The ship is beautiful. We did miss the outside areas since you cannot walk around the whole outside without coming in. Improvement in the ...

Some Things Better Than Expected But Poorly Organised

This was our first cruise and we went on the ten day itinerary. Boarding was great, as was the inside cabin, as were the staff. The food started off being of a far higher quality than expected. Then the wheels fell off... I really can tell the difference between the listed chicken soup and the vegetable stock that was provided, the listed pheasant and the chicken that was served, the ...

This was the 30th Anniversary of our "Friends and Family Annual Winter Caribbean Cruise". There were 24 of us. Our 3rd time on MSC and the 2nd on the Divina. We were on last winter and the dining experience was "OK", but boy....have they upped thier game. There is a new exec chef and selection, preparation and presentation have vastly improved both in MDR and buffet. No jugglers, magicians, or ...

First time on MSC/May be last time

Review for a Caribbean - Eastern Cruise on MSC Divina

We are just off the Divina. We chose this cruise because of the price and great itinerary. food: good to not good. The buffet is overcrowded and finding a place to sit us not easy for breakfast/lunch. Although food is plentiful, we found both breakfast and lunch very repetitive. MDR for dinner was hit and miss. My husband is gluten/dairy intolerant. While they tried to accommodate him, they ...

We sailed on MSC Divina because we got got a bargain and to entice us we were "matched" to the level on NCL/Carnival, we found the ship to be nicely designed, our cabin was comfortable and the amount of amenities and dinning was plentiful, we were hesitant because people's reviews had made it seem like there was too much pasta on the menus, we found the opposite, the food was very tasty and the ...

I should warn you....this will be a very in-depth review as I found it difficult to get good info on MSC when we were planning our cruise. I am hoping this will answer questions for everyone...especially US people who may not have heard of MSC. This was my 18th cruise, I am a 47 year old female, 1st time on MSC. Sailed Carnival, RCCL, Norweigen, Holland America and Disney. We did the ...

I’m writing this review as part two covering the last 10 days of a 21 day back to back sailing so I can detail the second cabin and Eastern Caribbean ports. For a more detailed overall review of our sailing please first see my part one as this will be a shorter review covering only things specific to this sailing. As back to back passengers we were able to be some of the first allowed back ...

Bought this in May, with a $198 deposit, a Memorial day special with free drinks and balcony. We had a great cabin 8230 on Deck 8 without lifeboats blocking our view. We were also near the elevator that we would used late at night coming down from the Black and White Lounge. Transportation is not at problem from Fort Lauderdale and back from the Miami port. Cost is $38 for Uber or $20 per ...

We just returned from a very pleasant first-time cruise on MSC Divina. We have about sixteen cruises under our belt on four other cruise lines and now MSC rates very high. I’m going to attempt to be very detailed with the intention of being helpful so the reader will understand how to make their MSC cruise more enjoyable. First, there is a bit of a learning curve for MSC. You have to decide ...
