It was my wife and I 20th wedding anniversary so we decided to take a cruise for 7 days. I was told by friends and family that we should have taken a 3 day cruise because it was our first and how we might become sea sick. Let me tell you that that was not the case at all. I will never take another cruise unless its 7 days. There was so much to do on the ship that anything less 7 days would be ...
We chose this cruise for the value and felt we received a bonus. The ship was beautiful and very clean. We found our service excellent. We had a great waiter in the dining room who never let our glasses go empty. The food was great.
We had read some bad reviews of this cruise but didn't find any of the negatives on these reviews true to our cruise. We didn't notice any of the staff being ...
I just came home from a wonderful vacation on the MSC Divina. I can't speak highly enough of the entire cruise, especially the wait staff and the entertainment staff.
I have to admit after reading other reviews on this ship I was a little concerned about the helpfulness of the cruise employees. How wrong they all were!!! Either the management staff took to heart the complaints and had the ...
We have cruised with MSC before on the Sinfonia in 2014. Embarkation on The Divina went smoothly even though it took an hour, at least the terminal in Miami was air-conditioned. We would have gladly paid a bit extra for a priority boarding, as we had done on the Sinfonia. Perhaps something they could consider in the future?
The ship was clean, well run, and we saw the Captain on more than one ...
My wife and I have been on 30 cruises and we wanted to try a different Cruise Line. The Divina squeezed a thousand more people on the ship hat another ship of comparable size has on it. There was never a time when you can find a seat in the buffet area easily. All the public areas except for the fantastic theater were smaller than expected I guess that was to accommodate more staterooms. The crew ...
From the top down, the staff strive to provide an exceptional experience. This was my fifth cruise, first with MSC. The ship was beautiful, cabins more spacious and better designed (storage capacity, etc.) than my memory of other ships. Disembarkation at each port was handled very smoothly and efficiently. The food didn't knock my socks off but service was always prompt and friendly. I liked ...
The reasonable price got our attention so we thought we'd try a new cruise line. The itinerary was pretty good (with the exception of Nassau which is just ok). Our inside cabin was ok but there wasn't any type of chair except for a stool under the desk area. The ship was set up and decorated similar to many we've been on with the atrium area. The steps in the atrium area were very pretty and a ...
As this was our first cruise my husband and I decided to go to the Caribbean. MSC appeared to offer the best value. Embarkation was ok. Took around an hour and 15 mins. We were issued with our individual cards which were used throughout the cruise for all meals, drinks and getting on and off the ship. First impression of the ship was that it was a lovely design. The bars were very good. Great decor ...
We recently returned from a week on the MSC Divina to the Western Caribbean; Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Cozumel and Bahamas. I have several helpful tips for anyone who will be traveling on the MSC Divina.
We had the Fantastica pkg which included 12 drink vouchers per person. We do not drink alcohol, but we were able use our drink vouchers for virgin drinks. I asked our waiter at dinner about ...
We chose MSC Cruises because of a friend referral. We will not use this cruise line again. The ship is glorious, the shows are great, Andre was the highlight of our week, but the food is not great and the service was horrible. We waited over an hour for iced tea during one of our dinners, we never knew when the sports bar was open because the times were not correctly listed, we were not properly ...
