I was on this ship for the corona cruise 3/13/2020 so I gave it another chance a few weeks ago. Most of it, especially customer service, was a colossal failure.
Pros:
Main dining room
Adult pool
Room attendants
Cons:
Guest services
Intrusive maintenance
Horrifyingly bad shows on repeat from years ago.
Maintenance used our balcony for half our trip and we had to close ...
Three-day cruise on MSC Divina (Thursday, 01/13/2023 – Monday, 01/16/2023).
My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary.
Right before boarding the ship we had a great customer service experience with a woman named Sofia (an MSC staff member who worked behind the embarkation counter in Terminal E). Sofia was very nice, courteous, and very helpful.
On the second day, my wife and ...
This was my 19th cruise and this was by far the worst cruise I’ve been on.
Starting when we got on and our stateroom was disgusting. The walls had marks all over them, the towels looked used. Asked guest services to have someone come, no one did for 4 hours. Then I asked again, and again. And it finally got done.
The bars- every bar was understaffed and the staff they had was honestly ...
Had a fun weekend cruise, our first with MSC. Ship was full. Considering the price, it was def worth it, despite the long list of ’con’s below.
pros:
- Easy, quick embarkation and disembarkation
- The kids club was the best we’ve seen (out of several cruise lines). Really fun activities for the kiddos.
- Main dining room food was excellent and tasty.
- Ocean Cay was great.
- We ...
We choose to try a MSC cruise largely because of the price.
We arrived in Miami about 10:30 and were at the terminal before 11am, expecting to be checked in as we had priority embarkation. The ship was still disembarking, so the doors didn't open until almost noon. We proceded to check in where an in training person had difficulty. It didn't matter as we couldn't board anyway. We found a ...
This was our fourth cruise with MSC and third on Divina. To say it was a disappointment would be a serious understatement.
The disappointment started with embarkation. It appeared that the suggested "check-in times" assigned was nothing more than a suggestion. Huge crowds, made more restless by a four piece combo of some type whose only talent seemed to be trying to make more noise than the ...
Choose cruise to discover a variety of Central American ports, and for the affordability. Understaffed with exhausted and overworked employees who are willing to openly speak about the bad working conditions; apparently experienced staff were shipped to new MSC ships being launched. Short staff and full ship means you wait, wait, wait. Main buffet offers very basic repetitive options. Decided to ...
After traveling many other cruise lines I can honestly recommend you to save your time, money and experience. The worst customer service I have ever encountered.
People in customer service department were rude and useless (ironic, as they should be the first ones to represent the brand) so I asked for assistant manager. He first made an appointment with us and was late. After he heard us about ...
Took a 4 day cruise to Nassau and an overnight on their private island the week before Christmas so the ship was full with 4100 but never felt crowded except for once or twice in the buffet. Was this the best cruise I've been on? No. Was this a very good cruise for the price I paid for single balcony room on a holiday week, yes. Not a lot of frills so here is what you can expect. Ship was well ...
For background information, my husband and I are seasoned cruisers. Most of our cruises have been on Carnival - not out of brand loyalty so much, but because they have a wide range of itineraries at reasonable prices. We can usually find something inexpensive that fits the dates we have available to travel and visits some interesting ports of call. When the opportunity presents itself to try ...
