What a wonderful pre-Christmas cruise! We loved every minute of our X vacation, and cannot wait to return. The Reflection is probably our favorite ship. We have been on al the S Class ships, and some other the M's.
Boarding in Miami was very easy, we practically walked right on. It felt so great to be back, and surprised our daughter with a suite. Michael's Club, Luminae, the private beach on ...
We are Elite Plus and have done over 20 cruises with Celebrity, and this was one of the best!
A few years ago, we had a really bad experience on the Reflection, with rap and hip hop music so loud one could not sit at the pool, or even walk through the lobby. Many guests discussed this with the cruise director of that cruise, who made it clear this was a new direction for Celebrity, appealing to ...
We have been cruising with Celebrity since 1999. I will try to keep rants about the " good old days of cruising" to a minimum. But will point out differences between M and S class ships.
On this trip we were cruising with our adult children. We liked the low key intinerary and the chance to try Celebrity's newest ship, the Reflection. Our last Celebrity cruise was on the Millennium, the ...
This was an early graduation present (for Spring 2017) for my daughters and all had a great time. Picking up our luggage after leaving the ship on a carousel was a little, uh, trying, breakfast in the main dining room was sloooow, but no real complaints. Great cruise.
The vendors in Jamaica and in Labadee were rather too "assertive" for my preference, so I did not pause very long at any ...
Reflection Cruise Review - Trip - 12/10/2016 through 12/17/2016 By Thomas Treimel
This cruise started when I was looking for a cruise in December and contacted my cruise agent Deb. I talked to Deb about a few cruises and then booked the Celebrity Reflection out of Miami. This was a double and triple win on booking this cruise. I got to Cruise with Deb my cruise agent and her husband Bill, ...
Had a balcony cabin near the rear of the ship on deck 7 (cabin 7338). Excellent location and quiet. Love the larger than normal accommodations that Celebrity offers. Use the balcony regularly for quiet times. Is nice to have your little piece of heaven.
Food was up to normal Celebrity standards, and our meal at the Tuscan Grill specialty restaurant was outstanding. Love the decor, and ...
We had previously sailed on this ship in March and were satisfied with everything but this time we were assigned the rooms above the showroom, which makes them very noisy. We were a party of 8 and had rooms 6118,6120, 6122 and 6124, so avoid these rooms, if possible. We also had a very rude and grouchy bartender at the Casino Bar and also one at the Opus Restaurant. The beer was flat and so ...
Every thing service wise was great. Our only complaint was that the overall food experience was just not great. Very good, usually, but off the mark enough to notice. Entertainment was exceptional, and Maarten the cruise director did a great job. I'd go back to Celebrity in a heartbeat, especially in Concierge class with the ultimate beverage package. The morning cafe mocha's and afternoon ...
This was my first cruise; so be warned I don't have any prior cruising experience to fall back on. We are also a couple in our mid-40's, so this review may not be a useful resource for a family traveling with children. With that said... here is what I thought of the cruise.
The highlight of the trip - the SHIP! The Celebrity Reflection is as good as, if not better than, advertised. While there ...
