Embarkation- we were assigned to board 12:30-1:00 pm-However when we got to the terminal any one and everyone could just go on in. It was extremely crowded. It didn't take long, but thought with the assignments of time, it would be must less crowded. NOTE: Employee that looked at your negative test was a joke, they barely glanced at it.
Pretty much went straight to our room. We were in ...
We have cruised on carnival before about five or six times so I new that we should not expect anything over the top. Embarkation was behind schedule because a fugitive was on the prior cruise and the authorities wanted to arrest him so each passenger was screened which delayed our boarding. Not carnivals fault at all. Once we made it to the terminal everything was easy. In our room and bags ...
We chose this cruise because we did not want to fly over the Christmas holiday. Therefore our only option was to sail out of our home state; Texas. We wanted to be sailing during Christmas so our only option was this particular cruise. During the seven day trip, there was only one evening show.ONE!! And that particular singer incorporated the audience, so it wasn’t an actual theater show. We were ...
I am writing to you to allow it to be known the dissatisfaction, disappointment, stressful situations (yes, plural) that Carnival made me and my entire family go through on our FIRST trip and possibly the last. It began with our arrival at the port where my husband went to park. At the parking lot, the parking attendant was so distracted talking to multiple people. He told my husband (or so we ...
Me and my wife have been cruising for years. We've been on about 15 cruises. Platinum members. I understand the Covid epidemic but there is no longer a VIP entrance anymore. Line up with everyone else and wait. Close together in a long line. So much for Covid. No more perks on that. Once on board you can enjoy the food and drinks as usual. The buffet has cut down to the only same 6 items on all 4 ...

I went on my first cruise with my brother in Nov. I had gone on my share of vacations but never a cruise ship. Idk if I'll ever go one one again. Cozumel was beautiful and fun. However, the customer service on this ship is a joke. I paid for an excursion for my bro and I and also, bottomless bubbles. So we get on the ship and they tell me no you don't have bottomless bubbles. I showed them the ...
Just back from a five day to Progreso and Cozumel. This is our first cruise in almost two years and we cruised with friends so we greatly anticipated this sailing. We chose this cruise due to it’s low price, departure port and timing ( we left the cruise and drove up to Houston for a wedding).
Initially, this was billed as an all-vaxxed, no mask cruise when we made our booking and deposit. ...
Nothing went well:
-Cabin wasn't clean
-They were not enforcing mask policy
-Embarkation took over 2 hours
-Debarcation was a joke - they weren't prepared for it - it took 3 hours to get off the boat
-Buffets were not open at more than 50%
I would definitely choose a different operator, boat and terminal. The Galveston terminal is not prepared for the crowds yet. "Security" ...
This cruise was offered as a packaged deal and was too good to pass up. 1st tie for a cruise and wanted a 4 day one. It had all I wanted(not too long, one day in Cozumel).
Embarkation: Not a problem at all. Dropped off the luggage at the terminal, parked the car and shuttled back to check in. Not a difficult process even with having to show a recent negative test.
Cruise: Very smooth from ...
