This sure was a cruise to remember. I have sailed on the Carnival Valor and Carnival Victory. These were beautiful, amazing, spacious ships, but the Breeze opened up my eyes. The new airy, caribbean vibe thorough the ship was very nice and the atrium is very elegant. The ship felt more relaxing and calm than partying Vegas casino that some of the other Carnival ship interiors remind me of. The ...
The Carnival Breeze was overall a great ship. Out of all the other ships from Carnival, this one was by far on of the best. This ship a total of 14 floors I believe. On floors 1&2 were rooms. On floor 3 there was the Guest Services, Shore Excursions desk, and main lobby/atrium. On the 4th floor, there was the photo gallery, a dining room (Sapphire), the arcade, and the 2 kids clubs, Club o2 and ...
Just some background on our perspective. We are a cruising fanatic family who usually cruises at least once a year. Our family enjoys activities, lounging at the pool, and appreciates how hard the crew works on the ship. Our boys are almost 8 and 10.
EMBARKATION/DISEMBARKATION
Oy vey...it's like a cattle call on a medium sized ship. Hey Carnival, go and study how RCCL handles Oasis and ...
We selected the Carnival Breeze for our family vacation. It was the first cruise for the kids, so the kid friendly environment on the ship seemed to suit our needs.
Overall - it was a good experience. We enjoyed the shows in the Ovation Theater and the Lime Light Lounge. We joined in the dodge-ball games. The ship has two good water slides, miniature golf, a ropes course and basketball ...
My three young daughters and I planned their mother-daughter holiday cruise. We also crises summer 2015 it was a great experience the water park was the main focus of attraction for them. There was non stop evenings music & a festive upbeat atmosphere. That's why we decided to go back again. We just admit it was a very disappointing experience this time. The water park was partly shut down the ...
We just returned today from an 8 day southern Caribbean during Christmas 12/19-12/27. I will be as detailed as possible and hope my review assists potential travelers with their decision. This was my 9th cruise all on different cruise lines.
Embarkation:
Arrived at port of Miami on 12/19 @ 2:30, there was a line for check in and total time from beginning of line to embarkation did not exceed ...
This was our second carnival cruise, the first one being the Carnival Liberty, and i would have to say i was pretty impressed. We were a pretty large group, consisting of a few families, having kids of all ages, and we were pretty impressed with what the ship had to offer. We sailed over christmas and visited Grand Turk, La Romana, Dominican Republic, Curacao, and Aruba.

There were good and bad things about this cruise. I am not one for complaining about things and usually make the best of a bad situation, but a few things upset me with regard to this cruise. The check-in situation at Miami Port was unbelievably awful - long queues outside to get in in the first place, then slow staff and more queues upstairs. Never had that problem before on previous cruises out ...
Storm from the day we left, every excursion was canceled.
Ship refused to utilize one of 3 other available docks in curaçao and made us drift of the coast canceling all excursions and activities in curaçao because the dock slip they wanted was "double booked", which makes no sense because the cruise was booked 3 months ago. According to the company I booked my Curaçao excursion they called ...
We were scheduled to visit 4 ports, La Romana, Grand Turk, Curacao and Aruba. Curacao and Aruba are really the two good one's and Carnival messed up reserving the port for Curacao. So instead of being able to spend a day at Curacao, the ship reached post night fall. With schedules being finalized year or more in advance, shows the sheer incompetence of the organization.
Overall, the ship was ...
