I live in Houston, so it was just a short drive to the port. Waiting in the heat wasn't fun, but the outdoor waiting area is covered with ceiling fans, and the line moved pretty quickly. Chose this cruise because Galveston is close to home. Will never go on the BREEZE again, the ship needs to be refurbished and cleaned. The hallways always smelled like sewer.
