Coming back from Cozumel which was a blast. This rainbow showed up from the ship crashing the water with a little sunshine to add. The sea was nice to us leaving Cozumel.

Loved this cruise from start to finish, faster to the fun is a definite must, the Steakhouse was a blast, wish I could have done it every day. The crew from our cabin steward to Arsana our waiter at MDR was above wonderful. The comedy club and the line up was a laugh a minute, the Piano bar had great music and wonderful humor. Loved, loved our cabin 2485, a deluxe ocean view that was huge, ...

This was our 15th cruise and our 2nd worst! The worst one was Holland America after Carnival bought it! Our cabin was fine as were our waiters and that's about it. The food (except for Guys and the Steakhouse) was bordering on awful. Lots of selection...just tasteless. The officers were the most unfriendly I've ever seen. Never saw the captain and only heard him twice. Really a shame because the ...

Never saw my cabin Stewart but once for 7 Days. Once. Didn't receive fun times to Wednesday after I complained. Card key had to be re keyed and that took 1 hour in line. Entertainment was repetitive and nit enough to do. Casino had the worst smoke I've ever seen. Tired of same games like hairy chest, think of new homes. Mainly adult crowd and they showed all kid movies and sci if. HCP room was ...

This was my first criuse . Probably be last with carnival, food wasnt that great. Ship had a bad smell, try thinking of eating in a sepitic tank. What ever they are doing its wrong ! Door latch was falling off,so had to keep tighten it with my finger nails so door would lock. Bisciuts and gravy were the worst ive had in my 67 years. Fried chicken over cooked and dried out to the point it was ...

All Around Disappointing

Review for a Caribbean - Western Cruise on Carnival Breeze

The port is extremely far from the airport in Houston. Transfers are expensive both through Carnival and independently. Embarkation took longer than normal and you had to walk further than necessary as they would make you walk up and down empty queue lines when there wasn't much queue instead of changing the retractable 'ropes' so you could bypass the extra lanes. Then they individually ...

We chose to go on the Breeze because it was one of the newer ships and in the same class as the Carnival Magic. Disappointed in the quality of the evening shows. 3 guys and 3 girls that just sang for a total of 3 shows. No live music, very simple sets, one show included four singers and 4 bar stools. The music at the atrium was by far better than at the Ovation Theater. The cruise director ...

Not The Magical Experience We had Before

We chose to go on the Breeze because it was the new ship and in the same class as the Carnival Magic we had sailed on before. Reservations went great and even upgraded just a couple of days before we left port. Upon arrival to the ship it didn't take long to realize "The Breeze" was not anywhere close to the Magic. The wallpaper was coming off the walls, the decor in the marketplace dining was ...

My husband and I have been on a lot of different Carnival ships - from small to large, old to new. However, this was our first time cruising out of Galveston. Ship: The Breeze itself is a nice ship. We stayed in a spa balcony cabin which was very nice. I loved the muted colors and decor. And, I enjoyed the spa perks. Embarkation: The terminal was crowded and loud and embarkation did not ...

We chose this cruise because we didnt want to go to Nassau or the Bahamas and we'd already been on the other two itineraries offered from Galveston. Also that the port was in Galveston and we could drive down in a couple of hours and save flight and hotel money. The ship is beautiful, staff very friendly and helpful. Well, up till you're about to walk off the ship for the last time, then i get ...

GREAT TIME ON THE BREEZE

We stayed in Houston for a few days (Springhill Suites – Hobby airport). Had a rental car and returned it the night before the cruise. We used the Carnival transfer shuttle to get to the cruise port in Galveston – about an hour ride not bad. Embarkation was an hour wait. Not sure what the delay was but once we were on board everything was great. We had a balcony room – normally we get an ...
