Shore excursion

There needs to be a way for guests to see reviews of shore excursions. Took 4 and none were as described. St Lucia: 4x4 Waterfall and Beach Adventure This excursion from Celebrity was ok. Over an hour bus ride to a waterfall. Short walk to the waterfall. Saw local scenery along the way. Overall not a good use of limited time in the island. The beach was along the highway. If you dont ...

Very disappointing

By far the coldest ship we’ve ever been on, the air conditioning must have been at the highest level. All the bars and lounges were freezing, we saw people coming in and shivering and leaving again. The restaurant was so cold the food went cold very quickly. We were told it was centrally controlled and could not be altered. The shore excursions were a disaster, some because of the weather which ...

Bad weather but great cruise!

We got to Key West but couldn’t dock as it was too windy. Nassau was cancelled completely due to 40mph winds and rain. Celebrity took the ship all the way to Cozumel and back. We all received OBC for the missed port fee taxes. Plus the activities and entertainment were really pushed up a notch. So much to see and do! I averaged over 14,000 steps a day and never went to the gym. Every where we went ...

We are long time cruisers and have cruised the Southern Caribbean before. On embarkation day, we (along with hundreds of other people) are told that our typical drink package no longer includes the vodka we prefer. So, we start off the cruise frustrated and angry that our October 14 days cruise included our favorite and our December cruise did not (without any advance warning). Ate at Sushi on ...

Most Disappointing Cruise Ever

Review for a Caribbean - Southern Cruise on Celebrity Silhouette

This was my 17th cruise, 5 on Celebrity and 2 on the Silhouette. By far the most disappointing cruise experience ever. Celebrity has always been a cut above the rest, but not on this cruise. The food, entertainment and treatment from the staff was very disappointing. Food in the buffet was repetitive and sometimes unrecognizable. No buffet carving board and reduced stations at dinner time? Basic ...

A very narrow demographic on this cruise.

This was our first Celebrity cruise, and only our fourth overall. We chose it largely based on Celebrity's reputation for service and dining. Our previous cruises have been Holland America Statendam to Alaska (1995), Norwegian EPIC to the Eastern Caribbean (2013) and Disney Magic to the Bahamas (2015). Both the NCL and Disney cruises were with our kids as a family of four. The first and and last ...

On the Celebrity Silhouette December 4th - 14th Background: We are Elite members on Celebrity and have sailed on NCL, Carnival, RCL so not new to cruising. First cruise was in 1980 so we have seen the changes over the years, but I have to say that the current changes in Celebrity are the worst. The staff was great as always but you can tell they are very understaffed and over worked. None of ...

After sailing mostly on RC and experiencing Norwegian and Disney.... Celebrity was a very different experience. Pros Comfortable seats everyplace. Not crowded at all. Amazing food in the buffet and main dining. Great service except one area. Clean (great job by Richard maintaining our room and spaces). Ana Duice and Activities Team Shows were ok... And got better as the nights ...

Boarding and First Impressions: Embarking on the Celebrity Silhouette was a bit of a waiting game due to weather delays at Port Everglades, resulting in a two-hour postponement. However, the actual boarding process was commendably efficient, setting a positive tone despite the initial setback. Food options and quality were below my expectation

This cruse on the Silhouette was my first cruise on Celebrity Cruise Lines. I had been told the food was excellent. I found it average to poor. What was worse, unless you shelled out more money for a specialty restaurant the only options you had were the one MDR, the buffet, or a top side snack bar. I have sailed NCL and all their ships have two MDR (Same menu, different vibe), an oriental ...
