Our biggest issue was getting to the Port. First no taxis at our hotel, and then unbelievable traffic into the Port. Once there it was probably 15 minutes from Suite line to Ship. Rooms were not ready so we headed up to Buffet for Lunch. We had little issues finding a table, and we enjoyed salads and fresh bread.
Soon the announcment was made that we could get into our cabins. We had a ...
This is a review of the 7 Day Eastern Caribbean April 9 - 16 2017 cruise that my Partner and I just returned from. This is our 4th trip on an S-Class Ship and our 15th cruise on Celebrity. This is also our 35th and 34th cruise respectively. Silhouette is a lovely ship and is a work of art from an aesthetic viewpoint, though as you read my review, you will see that it is not the most practical ...
We chose this cruise because I read an article about Celebrity being such a good cruise line and because of the itinerary including places we had not been. We were supposed to fly in Sunday morning but got notification Saturday morning our first flight was delayed. Got on the phone with Choice Air and Erica saved us by booking new flights. "Can you fly in three hours?" Yes, yes we can! ...
We choose this cruise because it was an all inclusive. We had a balcony stateroom,a beverage package, and prepaid gratuities. All transfers to and from the port.It was an awesome deal. The room was beautiful, our stateroom attendant Appadoo was an excellent worker,he saw to all our needs, very friendly and extremely polite.Thank you Appadoo. The main dining room was absolutely without a doubt one of the ...
We chose the cruise because we have sailed on Celebrity before-loved it and the Silhouette had nice reviews with the dates we needed. Our previous sailing was on the Reflection and as a whole we Rate the Reflection higher than the Silhouette. The great things about the Silhouette is the Cruise Director Sara and the Captain Demetrius. They really have fun, enjoy their job which makes the cruise ...
Ship is in great shape. Crew was our best ever, especially our cruise director Sara. Keep up the good work Sara, people are noticing and appreciate your efforts. The Aqua cabin 1527 was a great choice that gave us access to the specialty restaurant Blu for breakfast and dinner (so much better than the Ocean View room for meals. Great staff in Blu and very good service.
Shows were top notch. ...
Wow. Just plain wow. This was my first cruise on Celebrity and I am not sure I will be able to get away. The ship was clean, beautiful, well laid out and overall amazing. A group of 11, we all loved it!
Embarkation - Easy! Walked right through!
The ship and staff where welcoming and inviting. Only a few times did I encounter some staff that were without personality. I arrived at my ...
Celebrity offered a "Book & Go" opportunity from our home airport - London, Ontario. It was all-inclusive with airfare, transfers, cruise, gratuities and beverage package. It offered a complete opportunity for 2 lifetime friends travelling together, and being gals, we were directed everywhere we had to be and didn't worry about safety. It
The ship was beautiful - very fresh, clean, and ...
We chose Celebrity Silhouette because of the promotion they had where we received free gratitudes and free drink packages and since my husband had his heart set on going to the Grand Cayman, it was a perfect choice.
The food was amazing and our waiter Francisco couldn't do enough for us. He made his daily recommendations, which were always spot on. If we didn't order what he recommended he ...
We usually cruise with Royal Carribbean, but after reaching Diamond level, decided to try Celebrity. We found a good price with a concierge balcony cabin, on board credit, beverage package, and paid gratuities. We thoroughly enjoyed our room, and our 6 pm set dining. My husband and I were traveling with good friends who had been on several Celebrity ships, but they felt, as we did, that the ...
