By the time you actually get on board and have done safety briefs it's almost 5pm. The day is almost gone. We arrived exactly at our check in time and were able to check in immediately. It was an efficient check in with minimal queuing. It seemed many people had arrived earlier than they were advised and had to wait a long time in the hot lounge. We were on board the ship within 30 mins after arriving at mayflower dock. Our cases and car taken and boarded with no problems. We went straight to our cabin and our cases were already inside!
